I don't think anyone would pick living in fear of setinals, eating the same crap every day and wearing town ragged clothes.

Since we are only human of course you would choose the Matrix. Simply because it is so easy to accept and life would definetly be easier then it would in the real world. Like Zion for instance, you would constantly have to be on alert about, food, water, machines, sentinels, breaking into the main frame... so its a no brainer to choose the Matrix over the real world.

What would I rather have?

I used to think the Real World, back when I desired adventure and quests for the good of mankind. But the Matrix itself is quite inviting as well. To be able to never really have to worry about what I do might affect the lives of many in negative ways would be nice. But I know I couldn't stay that way for long. It sounds good now, because I am tired, and worn out from a long week, but perhaps this weekend, it will sound boring and useless.

In the end, I think I'd chooses the Real World. Maybe I could just stay in Zion and work there. It all depends on my mood.
