Ok this story is to do about my Matrix Character and the past before Neo was unplugged. It's set just after Matrix with Tank (yes he's still alive) Trinty Morphis and of course Neo as the crew of the ship. Hope you enjoy it.

The Line and Dream

One line of green digets after the other falling vertially covered the screen the brown tanned man was watching. He turned at the sound of footsteps to see Tank, comming to relieve him of duty.
"Anything in particular" He asked
"Nope just the usual" Morphis answered looking back at the screen of figures.
"Get some rest. It's my turn." Tank told him as he hit Morphis on the shoulder
"Nah, I'm wide awake you might as well go" Morphis stated
"I'm fine to take over. Get something to eat then go to sleep, you look like need it" Morphis shurgged at this comment and got up.
"Thanks"
He knew Tank was right about him needing sleep but he wasn't going to admit it to them. The last couple of days, his dreams had been haunted by a figure of the past. Ceasing his once peaceful sleep to that of a toss and turning state with no rest.
Tank watch Morphis walk away, but neither of them saw the strange flicking of a pink and yellow line of falling digits with a complete meaning unlike any other. It disappeared as quick as it came. And when Tank looked at the screen it looked like nothing was different.


The dream started again like it had always had. The training session of Morphis and his young female novice, where she finally bet him. Cutting to a week later, the start of the agurement, leading to the disobience of the student while in the Matrix. The agurement led to a fight and on the day of docking into Zoin, the fight came to a show stopping end
"How can I trust you again" Morphis exclaimed
"You don't have to" She scream back as she shoved her things into her pack.
"Fine leave, we don't need you" Morphis yelled
"Ha! Thats cheap. You don't need me and i don't need you. So go find you one!" a girl retorted.
With that she walked off the ships the crew, Morphis and Trinty especially, saw her walk into the crowd dissappering in it's number. The blood boiling inside Morphis. Then the dreadful finally of the dream. Weeks later hearing that the girl had boarded onto the ship as co-captian that was destoried in a crash. No Surivors. All believed DEAD.
"NO!!!!!!!!" Morphis sat up. The young girl's image still burning strongly in his mind. The penetrating blue eyes, framed by the dirty blonde hair of the girl who he would of called his own daughter, not by blood but by love. He placed his head in his hands in anguish, thinking what he had done.

Not far away was a girl lying down in a outstreched chair in a ship. Her eyes flicked around under her closed eyelids as she moved around in the matrix.

im here before hitman, wow. great writing, i reckon you should put a bit more into it but otherwise its brill. keep up the good work

Hitman is usually on at around between 4-5 a.m. where I live, which Is Pacific Standard Time. Love the story, but you should make it longer than that, otherwise, they wouldnt be called chapters. Just a little constructive criticism, have fun writing. Cant wait for more.

The reason why it was sort was that i was writing it on the net right there and then and i had to do homework (Stupid school, Stupid NCEA). I'll try an make it a bit longer next time. Did i metion that this is my first Matrix fic. I'm usually writing radom stories for my self or writing tribe fics for the BB.
