Hey ppl. Remember my story Liquid? For those of you that don't, go read it again. It should still be here somewhere in the fan fic section. Anyways, after getting a lot of positive comment on the story, i promised to write another one, but unfortunately after the school year started i got too much homework to really write one.

one of my assignments in english was to write a short story on a WWII battle. i kno this doesnt really have anything to do with the matrix, but for those who liked my writing, i thought i could post it here. it's my interpretation of the storm on Omaha Beach. now i kno, i kno. it sounds really similar to the opening scene in Saving Private Ryan, but this is my own interpretation of what happened that day. i tried to keep it as seperate from the movie as possible, but you cant really seperate a short story and a movie that are both about huge explosions and massive amounts of death during WWII ! besides, the movie takes place in the Dog Green sector of the beach with the 2nd Division Army Rangers while mine takes place on the Easy Red sector with the 1st Division (Not that it makes any difference).

i tried to make it as school appropriate as possible, so there's minimal swearing (if any at all). i'll try to revise it to an uncensored version ;).

I thought it was nicely done DNT5. It might not have anything to do with the matrix, but it was still entertaining. My only problem with it was just a few of the details: but nothing that i couldn't overlook
