I have read a lot about zion being a second matrix to hold the one percent who were "awakened" form the first matrix, and that may be true, but could there still really be a real zion? and what would be the purpose of killing all those people in the matrix zion, it would be wasteful for the machines to do that ? could it be that they had to kill them because now that neo may know that zion is a matrix, he could tell everyone else and the robots would lose control over this second matrix? and if they are killing everyone, who is neo to choose from to start over again as the architect said he would ( remember 16 women and only 7 men to rebuild)?
Also, who is updating the programs in the matrix are the computers really able to upgrade their own selves (what would be their purpose, you need a purpose to upgrade) or could there possibly be a human in charge (even if he is a prisoner)?

What's up All.......I am new to this site just registered....Now I checked out Matrix Reloaded 3x's and each time I noticed something different.....First when they went to see the Merovingian, Neo looked left at a man being escorted out of the room....I am still unsure of the meaning behind all of that (can someone shed some light).....Now the next thing was when they got the message from the Oracle, and they were all heading to the ship & the lil kid brought Neo the spoon that was all bent up, I asked myself how was it possible for the spoon to be in the real world? But they were able to get the message from the Oracle back to the real world......That might be a clue that there's a Matrix within the Matrix My argument is against it (I would be highly upset if the plot goes that route).....And now that Neo's power over the Machines works in the real world, people have different opinions......I see it as, since there were 5 before Neo and they all picked the door that destroyed Zion and saved the rest of humanity, and Seeing as the dude said Neo was different from the others, and he was the first to pick the door that is going to destroy both Zion & all that are trapped within the Matrix, I just figured that in the 3rd (hopefully final installment) the Oracle is going to guide Neo to another way to save all of humanity.......Again I am going to be highly ticked off if in the final movie, the plot revolves around a Matrix within The Matrix.......

and why is everybody so sure that it is a Matrix in a Matrix? I see how it's a strong theory but it's not like you've seen the movie already! Unless you have some more evidence in which your theory is the only possible correct one you shouldn't be so sure.
