I dont quite understand what you accually are if you live in the matrix i mean are you just a digital version of ur real self or are you just part of a computer program that sybolizes the real world before machines took over ?:confused:

I think you sorta answered your own question on that one! lol According to the movie an Morp's explanation to Neo... the Matrix is a digital image of what you percieve yourself to be... and thats why each time they go in to the Matrix they are without plugs and have great hair and clothes.. you are what you want to be while inside the Matrix... The Matrix is a computer generated form of a world that we want...

That leads to another point about the "mental projection of your digital self" statement If the people "born" in the matrix have always been in the matrix, then they must have some sort of consiousness in their pods (whatever they are called) to know that their real bodies are growing, in order for them to be able to grow in the matrix, but they would have no idea what they really look like, having never seen a mirror. Hmm.

In every strand of DNA there is AE+4x Which is the bit for counciousness. Therefor, even a dog is aware of what it is, and to some point, what it looks like. As well as human children playing in a mirror. They think it's another person because they never really know what they look like. But they know what they are, The brain just randomly makes up a face or "self image" based upon others if they never have seen a mirror.

A study is being done on the effects of never seeign your reflection, But it is hard because they arent alowd to use glass (for obvious reasons) or any other surface in which you can reflect your image. I think the easiest way to create a self image withotu seeign yourself would be to be in a comatose state.

Hence, The reason why people have different sorts of self images in the matrix. And weirdly, Twins in reality have a sort of mind reading power. (creepy, huh?)
