Who should really play the next James Bond? Or do you think that someone unknown might be beneficial to the further progression of the character?

i think that guy who is playing him now is pretty good. i forgot
his name but he's a pretty good bond.

maybe Tom Cruise next :rolleyes:

No offense to any fan of Mr Cruise, but I can't stand the guy. I agree however that Pierce Brosnan is doing an excellent job and has had a cracker of a few films.

Yeah, Pierce just seems to fit my idea of James Bond if you know what I mean.... Anyway, I think he should do it for at least the next movie.

Agreed, I think Bond is best played by Pierce Brosnan, but I imagine that most older people would agree that Sean Connery was the perfect Bond.

I saw an old bond movie, Goldfinger I believe with Connery. Was great!

Yeah, I used to be quite an avid Bond fan because my dad was one. I believe I've seen them all. I think Pierce is the best, but my parents say Connery. He was good, its just that the Bond character has changed nowadays, and it just seems to suite Pierce more.

Sean Connery was the best bond, unfotunately he reportably turned down quite a sum (what I heard was it was like a quarter mill ) to do the next Bond movie..

I worshiped Connery as bond.. and I always will.

:rolleyes: I have to admit he was THE james bond (Sean Connery). Rodger Moore I couldn't stand and everytime they advertised a new Bond film at the Cinema I would be there Praying it was Sean Connery.


My mum ( bless her) always took us younguns to see movies that were M rated with her if it involved Bond or Sci Fi.

She even had a fight with someone lining up to see Logans Run way back when I was wee thing bless her Sci Fi heart.:cool:

X, you really think that Sean Connery would fit what the Bond character has come to be in this day-and-age? Sorry but I just cant see that happening. Of course, I will admit that he was a great Bond, but I think that he is to outdated (and old) to be playing in the next Bond movie.

I do believe that Pierce Brosnan has actually signed to do the next Bond Movie, and we will be seeing the return of Dame Judy Dench as M. But be sad Bond fans, because rumour has it that once either of the pairing fail to sign for a bond the other will follow suit. What do people think about Die Another Day? Do you think that Halle Berry played a good bond girl? Or do you think she's just better as something to dream about at night?

I think she did pretty good. But she can be both!!

How about the idea of having Halle Berry as Jinx turning renegade and becoming a baddie, and Bond has to s**g her and then kill her......?

Or how about a film where bond doesn't have a mission that is a personal vendetta.
