Is life within the Matrix really that bad?... Are the machines that control the Matrix truly evil?

One can make the argument that the Matrix is indeed a good (pleasant) thing for humans, as their situation could be much worse... The reality for humans is that they are a source food, and futhermore destine for death.

The Matrix was created to disguise this reality and give the humans a better life (perception), rather than live in a conscious state during thier days of proliferation. Thus, it appears the machines created the Matrix to give the humans a better way of life... It's like humans allowing cows to roam the fields and enjoy life, rather than keep them trapped within a cage.:confused:

Well i agree with you that the matrix isnt all that bad but still once you find out about the "real world" wouldnt that put u down i mean just to think that bacically your whole life has been a lie and nothing really happened since the matrix is just a simulation of whatv the real wold use to be.

Good point... If I knew of the truth (the "real world") I would want to be set free... I would do everything to put up a fight to beat the machines... rather than accept that I am thier food...

Unplugged too....just the thought of living a lie your whole life would just somehow take away from the fun aspect of it...
