Just got gears of war not too many weeks ago and wondered what you guys think of the game as far as play, graphics etc.

Every. Single. Console. Game. Is. Over-rated.

If I cant play it with/against 2,000 other people then it has no point. The graphics are pretty, indeed, but the physics, like every console game, are fucked. The game works best as a two man shooter, but only decently as a solo game. Add to this its limited replay-ability and utter lack of online diversity and you have a game that cost $50 that can be beat in a single day and then never played again. I will pass.

Yeah, i see what you are saying, as far as console games go i think the physics are fairly good. I don't like massive multiplayer though, kind of like mass pvp on WoW.
