There are several members here whome, I believe, understand that this forum is dead/dying. So here is the question floating through my mind: why not make your own forum? Hell, DPD did it and he is retarded.

I don't know, taking the remaining, "old skewl", members from here and starting something that is new and your own seems to have more promise than hanging onto this coffin.

Instead of moving, why not stay here and do absolutely nothing? Moving involves far too much work, and everything here is established. Making a new forum for the hell of it is like flossing a dead horse with a fine strand of silk.

DD, I would say it is dead and you are being kind in giving the dying option, but one thing you need to understand is that this has been tried before. NXM did make another forum and a lot of us did go over to check it out as well as some from other sites like Vin were invited. The site is still up and Niva and I are on staff there as well, but it went no place because although a lot of us miss the good times that we all had here, at the Hardline, etc. we all got lives. That is why we all don't come here as much or post as much. It isn't that there isn't anything to talk about. Yeah, the Matrix is played out, but that isn't the only purpose for this forum anymore and it hasn't been for a long time. It was a place for all of us that met here or on other sites to come and check in with eachother, have some laughes, and discuss issues in the world or in our lives, etc. That is why some of the old members still come here from time to time. There are not a lot of people that go to the Shakc on a daily basis either, but that was not the purpose DPD made that forum either. The Shakc is also more hardcore than a lot of the members here could handle or even want to.

I think that if you are suggesting that someone make a new forum, then maybe you could come with some suggestions of just what that forum should be. Like I said, it has been done before with good intensions, but no results. I truely think that is why Myspace has taken off the way it has for some of us here and on other forums. The forums that we go to may be pretty dead, so this is a way for all of us to keep in touch without having to post shit every day, etc. There are a lot of people on my Myspace page that are from here, other sites, and Vin. That was the main purpose that I got the damn page, because I just don't have as much time as I use to and because these forums that hold memory for me and so many others are just plain dying.

Suggestions maybe? What kind of forum do you think would take off and stay active, so we could all stay together?

I'm all for staying here...though now I use MySpace more than anything else to keep in touch and chatter away to people.

I think the main reason for people not coming here anymore is because is MatrixMania...we don't talk about the Matrix anymore! So if anyone was to create a new site, it should NOT be about the Matrix, unless they want it to die a horrible death.

Ok, I seem to remember a lot of side forums being made by the people on this site over the years. I've eve been in some of them. Most of them are gone, while MM is still kicking, that certainly is something. So I refuse to acknowledge that this site is dead or even dying until I see the numbers 404 when I type in MM's URL.

I do have something on my mind. A word. "Reboot". Delete everything here or at least stuff 'em in an archive, and start afresh. Tabula Rasa. New name, skins, threads, everything.

But that is probably too radical. In any case, no need to move house, we're perfectly fine here.

Unfortunately, it is not up to us what goes on here at this site with skins, etc. We do not own it. We can make some minor changes, but ultimately it is not up to us for the major shit.

TPS is still alive and kicking the shit out of its members. But most of you fags wouldnt know anything about that. My point was that something was needed where actual control was had. Meaning, it was not a forum about movies that came out several years ago but the look couldnt be changed cause the owner made too much ad money.
