Hi, I just got setup to produce animated GIF avitars 4 U 2 use on the site!

I can make animated avitars from the following movies and TV shows:


And if you ask nicely, I might even be able to get clips from these other TV episodes:


Also, if there are any new movie trailers out, and you can tell me where to get AVI files of them, I might be able to oblige with some new trailer avitars.

Hmm ... which part was that? I made a little Burly Brawl one already, but I don't remember a part where Neo runs down the street ....

Anyways, this morning I've made several new avitars, and I'm attaching some of them. This is fun!



Attached is the little Burly Brawl avitar I made before you'd asked .... It doesn't look right for some reason, but you might get the basic idea.

I was trying to make a back-and-forth one with Trinity (her most famous pose, from the first film, you know) but it's too dark. You can't hardly see her when she's reduced to 64 pixels.

[later edit] Oh!!! You mean from Revolutions! I'll see what I can do....

[later later edit] Oh, crap! My Revolutions videos are in DivX / .MKV format. The software I've been using won't touch it, it only likes .AVIs. I'm using VirtualDub to get clips from my DivX .AVIs of the other movies, and Macromedia Flash MX 2004 to make those into animated GIFs. If anybody has a solution to the .MKV problem, please tell me, otherwise no Revolutions avitars from me, sorry!

those are some cool avi's patriot. I made mine a while back with animationshop 3 and the Reloaded trailer.

I used Advanced GIF Animator for my avatars, it is easy to use and fast. And it seems you get better picture quality, since the ones above are quite grainy... Worth a try at least.
You can use that to grab frames straight out of your avi's and mpg's (if memory serves me right, been a few years since I did this... )

Oh wait, except I don't have those programs LOL.

What I have is, (as I said above) some DivX AVIs of the Matrix, MReloaded and AniM, which I use Virtual Dub to grab short clips out of, I import those clips into Macromedia Flash MX 2004 and export an animated GIF. It's crappy but it works, and it's all I can do with the software I have. I would appreciate more software or advice on un DivXing stuff.

Think there was a free trial of Adv GIF Animator, so if you want to try it I am sure you can...I did a search for it in Google and found a lot of free trial dl links...

To be honest I don't remember...I think it coped with almost all movie formats though...
