Good news, everyone! Now you can battle even more, and for practice! The RPG was preinstalled with a bunch of bots to fight for fun, when no one is around to smash in the dirt.
Unfortunately, finding out the specific link to the Monster Arena proved difficult until I went out and did a search elsewhere. The bad thing about it is that I will have to link you to the Arena here, because there is no forum link to it, or in your Headquarters in your CP.
The link:
The Matrix: Mania RPG Monster Arena
Now, if you are in a battle currently, you will not be able to battle a monster. To the very right of the monster should say either "In User Battle" or "Level Too Low".
Yes, the monsters have a level attached to them to battle them. They each have their own attacks and defenses. For each level, they have a certain experience, and let me tell you, their attacks hurt. They'll give you a run for your money, if only for healing costs.
I believe each turn yields the same amount of experience as a normal user battle would. However, when you win a battle against a monster, you will be given experience as a prize. The higher the monster, the more experience gained if you win.
There are three important links in the Arena. One is the "View" to view the statistics for each monster. There you can see HP, MA, etc. A picture of the monster is provided. Also in this screen is a "Challenge" link. It will not work if you are in a battle with another user.
If you are not in a battle with another user, than the far right column should have a "Challenge" link. This will take you directly into the battle.
There is also a "Browse" link, where you can view any monster battle taking place.
If you'd like to get back to the main screen in the Arena, you would click the "Main" link just on the left of the "Browse" link.
If you have any further questions or comments, feel free to post here. I'll try my best to answer any questions.
Enjoy!
