Did you consider thinking about where could the powerful path of The One end. well it did end when Smith defeated Neo in the third movie but I still don't think it ends right there. Even if Neo does die his path still goes on until the program Smith is completely erased out of the system. In a way Neo did defeat Smith but I don't think Smith is completely gone from the Matrix.

no there won't,neo did't go through the same door as the others,he chose NOT to reset the matrix and start the new zion,he chose to save trinity, defeat smith and forge a kind of peace between humans and machines,he changed everything so there won't be another "one"

The Path of the One ends in the Architects office if the One follows his purpose, Neo on the other hand didn't do what he was supposed to as the One and chose the other door, therefore Neo had gone beyond the Path of the One he was now on the Path of Neo (ha ha) where he had to figure out what to do now, in turn he goes to 01, makes a deal with Deus Ex Machina and helps finsih off Smith sacraficing his own life in the process

Although Smith defeated Neo. Remember when you die in the Matrix you die as a programme. You will simply be restarted into a new programme. probably one that is updated.

Neo isn't a program though, the only programs that we know of are the parents of Sati, the Oracle, Seraph, Architect, Merovinigan and his crew, Agents and some other. but not Neo, or any other Red Pills for that matter

But remember in the first movie when Neo was just plain Mr Anderson. He was a programme until he took the blue pill from Morpheus. (Maybe the red one). And then he touched the mirror and it spread all over his body. It was a type of process to give him his proper life as Neo. But Neo soon realised that if you die in the Matrix you die in real life. I think that if you die in the Matrix, your programme is restarted. (Remember the black cat).

Smith didn't defeat Neo, Neo defeated Smith (albeit with some help from the Oracle and the machines). At the end of Revolutions, I believe Neo became one with the Source. Kinda like how, Obi-wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Anakin's spirits became part of the Force after they died.
