Ballard gives Neo this kind of chip and says that it's from the Oracle. What's meant to be contained in it?

I think it's just a message saying that he can come see her now, but I could be wrong. He went to her apartment thing before & she wasn't there, & everyone keeps waiting for her to send word before they consult her. If this is true, she must have been somewhere else, but I don't know where.

See, what would seem logical to me is that the Oracle will send word of where he should go too. But she could do that by just telling Ballard's crew. What's she need a chip for?

I have a question. I would've made a new thread, but this was the closest topic with any meaning to my question:

Ballard's ship, the Caduceas. Isn't it the "Ganesha" in the disc 10 of the ultimate matrix collection zion archives thing? In the "Ships" featurette they mention the Caduceas and show a picture of the 3D model of the Ganesha, so are they really like the same ship?

Since you no doubt know that everyone in the Matrix has a purpose, since Ballard's Crew consists of Bane, who upon retriving the disc is assimilated by Smith who then blinds Neo giving him the Golden Code vision, maybe thats why she gave them a file, but its most likely becuase the file will contain Coordinates of Seraphs Tea House for Neo to go to

Also Ballard is the Captain of the Caduceus but the crew of the Ganesha is never told
