First thought:
"It's out?"
Second thought:
"Oh yeah... eh, I don't have any money to buy it."
Third thought:
"I'm hungry."

I just hope it kicks World of Warcraft's butt. Then again, I say that because I can't afford either game. Hmph.

I was entertaining the thought of buying it, but then I realised I would need broadband. Which also costs money. So there goes that idea. Maybe I'll just stick to playing ETM, and everyone else can tell me what MXO is like.

My thoughts too... is noone going to play this game or what? Release date here in Europe is this friday (8th of april), so no sound from the european ppl.
But, is there no demo version orso, so that u can even TRY the game? Every game has a demo right, so why not this one  ??? or is there...?

There's no demo that I know of; the beta was open in the end, so pretty much anyone who wanted could try it out.
I'd hoped there were more people here who play it; it'd be cool to start a crew with members from MM.
Oh, well. I enjoy the game, if that counts for anything, even though the 15$/month is a tad on the ridiculous side.

Thus is why I'm not going to get it right now. I don't have another $15 a month to spend right now. I may get it this summer. By the way, since I'm a tad ignorant about MxO, where do you get it? Is it a download or is it software from a store like EtM but just requires Internet hookup?

What??? Guess it isn't open anymore eh :s I saw screenshots + a movie from the end of the beta period... That is such a shame. Wish I knew it could be tried by everyone

15/month is pretty much the standard for games of this type. You buy the software at a store, install it, register, and play. The first month is free - if you cancel before the month ends, you don't have to pay the 15 dollars, but you still can't get your money back on the game itself. It's really not THAT of a deal... The game gets tons of new content updated each month, bugs are constantly being eliminated, and you're playing with thousands of other people. Someone's gotta pay the Wach. bros for the new storylines, the actors for their dialogue and image, and the programmers for the new missions and content.
I might get it later on down the road. I'm waiting for more bugs to be squashed and a sale on the game. Usually a couple months after release games like these go on sale for 20 or 25 dollars.
