I heard that Morpheus died in the beta version of the Matrix Online game. Is this true? I was told that a guy with a white mask shoots him. I know that they said that someone would die. Can anyone support this? Can anyone ellaborate on the story so far in the game. Can anyone talk about the red sky and the eye in the sky. Thanks. Can't wait to buy game!!!

Patience, young one. Nothing vital to the game happens until after it comes out. Preorder and get into the beta, would be my advice

i didnt pre-order because I kept hearing bad things about it. i think im going to actually just get it. Will i be at a disadvantage since I didnt try the beta? Thats my only problem with buying it now.

ok, I'm just going to come out and say it: When the beta ended, all the junk mentioned in the very first post happened. The machines took over, agents went nuts and slaughtered (well, deleted) people left and right. Morpheus accused bluepills of betrayal and whatnot. In the end, everyone died so they could wipe the system clean for the release.

Everything that happened during this time was temporary, so no worries.
