im sorry if this was already posted, but in the detective's story, i htrought trinity got the worm out of hime wiht the eye hting but he becomes an agent...
how?
and just because he wwas shot he stopped changing? did she fool the machines into believing he was dead? what happened?
lastly, there were 3 guys: dead, missing, and crazy...
was dead was killed by trinity, the agents, or somethine else?
missing was probably freed from the matrix...
and crazy: what happened? i couldnt hear what he said...

When the detective was shot,he wasnt dead, but was soon going to be.Guess the agent didnt want to have to shift bodies so soon,so just stopped the takeover process. The worm doesnt play a role in the agents ability to become anyone connected to the matrix ( or else its time i watched the movies again).

The worm thingy is a tracking device. Agents can still jump into bodies without them.

Okay, the agents may or may not switch to a diffrent body. But honestly, program or not do you believe that they would want to switch with an injured body. Even if it were human or not. But the worm thing. That is simple for tracking and a quick lock if they did decide to switch. I asume they would have to go threw the Machine City mainframe to switch to a diffrent host. Kind of like how Agent Smith refured to humans as a virus. Well they are the ones that have to switch hosts. I believe they are the virus but thats is for a diffrent thread.

well, if he is pluged in and didnt get to an exit then it would be like unplugging anyone from Zion that goes into the matrix while they are walking. Instant death. Hence why they didnt do that. It may have destroyed the Agent that attempted to switch with Mr. Ash. All though that is just my theory.
