Hey guys! If you didn’t notice, I wasn’t all that active this weekend. Wells, I went down to my parents’ house near San Diego, and I went to Sea World. That was fun. Except for my sunburn on my neck. Cursed sun. *Shakes fist at sun, even though it’s night.* I have pictures though. Yay! So, here ya’ll go!

These two things are the first things you can see when you pull into the parking lot. It’s a ride that spins you around the mast while you sit and enjoy the view, and the other one is Journey to Atlantis.


This is the first drop to Journey. That was fun.


This is my family. From left, my little sister Kelly, my older sister Caitlin, and my mom Barbie. Also another one with my sisters. They all like to pose. All a bunch of loonies. Wonder where I get it?



The next stop we did was the Killer Whales show of Shamu. Only killer whale performers in the world I think they said. Shamu kicks ass. I’m too tired to describe all of them, so you’ll just have to use your imagination. Just different tricks and such.

Then we went on a rapids ride, where you’re in a circular thing and you get wet because the water is splashing you all around. You also go right under a waterfall. It was fun. The sun was out, so that was good. No pneumonia. This is me with my sister and my mom, all wet. My whole backside is soaked.


These are shots of the surrounding area and park, as we went up into the spinning thing that went up that I showed in the beginning. This one is of Shamu’s tank and stadium.


This is the dolphin tank and feeding pools. Also where you can swim with them and feed them yourself.


This is Mission Bay, where Sea World sits. Many boats and stuff out there.

The San Diego skyline shrouded in haze. I think it means whale’s vagina… roughly translated.

Awwww you should see my son Ewan (the other 2 are away this weekend) looking at all these pics honey. He keeps yelling NEMO and FISHY lol. Yeah, it really does look like fun up there. NMN, did they have any Great White Sharks in any of the tanks up there.. They are my favourite sea predator. Second is Killer Whale.

No, I don't think you can have Great Whites in captivity. It's like against the law or something. Or I could be horribly wrong. In any case, there are none at Sea World.

.. No, your probabily right, I've not heard of any sea related parks or aquariums that have Great White Sharks nowadays. In the Pymouth (UK) Sea Aquarium, there used to be a Great White Shark but I suppose the laws changed and they had to let it go...
