just wondering if anyone noticed the difference between smiths suit and the suits of the other agents in reloaded. its most easily seen in the burly brawl just before smith overtakes the other agent. they are standing right next to each other; smiths suit is black, but the agents suit maintains the matrix's infamous green tint. i guess it symbolizes smith's separation from the matrix. no questions or anything, just pointing out another cool example of symbolism in the movies.

Well the designers for the Matrix said they tried to avoid blue and use more green cuz green is a sad color and blue is a happy color i guess the agents never change the color of their suits cuz they are meant to maintain that sad image? i dunno its just a thought...

Perhaps, but that would not explain the lack of colour in Smith's suit: After all, it's not like Smith is a 'happy' person. It's probable an indication that Smith too is an anomoly, no longer part of the system...

Smith became independent! He's not afraid to be alone. Maybe happy isnt the right word...perhaps upbeat? Even tho thats what the designers said "happy"

i think the green simply sybolizes the matrix and the lack of green on smith shows that he is no longer part of the system. he is free

His suit still has some green tint to it, doesn't it? (the "white" shirt at least)
In an interview by the WB (I believe you can find it on the Matrix Revisited DVD), they stated that everything within the Matrix had a green tint, thus showing it was all false. This even includes the rebels. Perhaps those freed have less green in their appearances, but they should still have green.

i think the levels of the film have been adjusted so that green levels are above red and blue, and when you eliminate all other major colours everything looks green... i do it in photoshop to make my pictures of my mates look matrixy
