This thread is a little banal for my usual self but occasionally I like to mix with the proles...

I don't know what the state of play in other countries is, but here in Taiwan the second season of '24' has just started to play...

I watched the first 4 episodes on TV, but then I got thirsty for more and in the last 2 days I have rented the DVDs for episodes 5-20...I have only watched up to episode 13 so far, but plan to finish the whole thing by Monday...DAMN this show is GOOD!

Anyone else into it?

Yes, I have to say I have become somewhat of an addict of 24. At first when it came here to australia I watched it, then stopped for a while, only watching it now and then. The second series came out and I did the same thing are you OBLH, rented out the missed episodes, and now am back into it again.
I enjoy the second series though, more so then the first and I am not to sure why.
But I must agree, it's a good show... I am sure Valasher is into it as well if I remember correctly...?

24 is really the only show I watch faithfully every week on TV now. We got the third season airing here in the states, and I don't want to ruin anything, but it's better than the first two seasons (and seeing as how the first 2 seasons were incredible, that says a lot). Such a great show...

Yeah...I saw the first one too...I thought it was good, but it's definitely raised the bar and pushed it to the next level...ARGHHHHHHHH! I just said "raised the bar and pushed it to the next level"!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! ARGH! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

It is very good though...at the current moment in time, I'm thinking...Sherry Palmer, you bitch...you sneaky, conniving bitch...

I love 24 myself, but then the show is usually shown in an ungodly hour here, and I can't afford the DVD's and I can't find the episodes on Kazaa, and I've only watched 5 episodes from both Season 1 & 2...

Anyway, I've seen the final Season 2 episode. A clue to what happens at the end: Did you know a handshake CAN make you sick?

I love you crazy Canadians!

'24' as in 24 hours...although I'm sure you're just being sarcastic...

I agree with ThereIsNoMatrix. The third season is the best so far, but I love all of them. In America, I think there's like 8 or 9 episodes left to go on the third season. The first season was kickass, the second season was great, but the third season has a faster progressing plot that switches to another mission at the drop of a hat. To start off with (and I promise I'm not ruining anything here...) Jack Bauer is addicted to heroin because of an inside job that he had been on for the last 2/3? years trying to convict someone. And that's not ruining anything because it has nothing to do with the previous seasons and is explained in the very first episode of season 3. The ending episode of the first season (I'm not giving away what happened) was one of two or three endings that could have been, but they say on the DVD that they chose it to show that anything is possible, which is the whole attitude of the show anyway. I'm happy with this show, but the shows I'm really getting into are The Shield (on FX, a FOX station) and of course... The Sopranos. And Six Feet Under is returning in June I believe... Television has never been so movie like until now. And Deadwood is good, all HBO shows I've been mentioning. I also like ER (They keep trying to top the action), and I've seen every episode ever made of that show. When I get into a show I can't stop watching until I've seen every episode, and the very best shows I'll rewatch every episode again if it's offered on DVD.
