Who are your top 3 favorite villains and why?? I'll start
1. Agent Smith - He is one of the only villains in any movie who
is completely evil. He has nothing to gain for himself out
of what he does, he simply wants everything and
everyone destroyed. This coupled with his excellent
dialogue and speeches make him no. 1 on my list.
2. Hannibal Lector - Again, his voice is very charismatic. His
dialogue is superb.
3. Mugatu - Is there much more I need to say? Any part Will
Ferrell plays is spectacular. Mugatu cracks me up everytime I
see him. Doesn't anyone else notice this? I FEEL LIKE I'M
TAKING CRAZY PILLS!

1. T-1000 from Terminator 2 - he is the most invincible and intimidating bad guy I've ever encountered *shudder*
2. Dr Evil - same as above. Or not.
3. Tyler Durden - well, he's sort of villainy isn't he? I don't know. I need to give this list some more thought. Maybe I'll update this later with new guys.

1. Agent Smith he's number one becuase for once there is a villian that has power and brains and doesnt have some stupid scheme to "take over the world" and doesnt get defeated by the hero easily in a way he really doesnt becuase to win there would have to be a winner but neo died to so..
2. Lord Voldemort, he refuses to die and continues to get stronger
3.Darth Vader he destroyed a couple of planets with his death star that should qualify you as evil
4.and finally Montgomery Burns he's kidnapped puppies, blocked the sun and lot of other things and you just gotta love the way he says "Excellent" lol

*insert your own pathetic preteen girl's scream* I LOVE Tyler Durden!! He's got to be one of my favorite movie characters...I wouldn't necessarily refer to him as a villian, though...
Ok, my list:
1.) Hannibal Lecter- the guy rocks- oh, so evil, oh-so-smart, so charismatic, yet something else I can't quite put my finger on....
2.) Riddick (sorry if I misspelled it- it's Vin Diesel's character in "Pitch Black")- he rocks! You WANT to cheer for this guy, even though he's a "bad guy"
3.) Strong Bad (do you REALLY need an explanation?!)

Hmm, I guess I could compromise and name Smith as number 3 instead of Durden. In number one he was the perfect villain, but I didn't list him because I thought that he wasn't really all that villainy in the two sequels...
I mean, he was a fun guy and all, but he was kind of the good guy wasn't he?
Somehow I never quite got the appeal of Hannibal Lecter... I've only seen the first movie and though it was nice, it was way WAY overrated... Do I need to check out the sequels to see what's special about this guy or is it lost on me?
P.S. Strong Bad, Mugatu, who the fluck are they?

Holy crap, I forgot about Mr. Burns and Dr. Evil! I think they have to share spot no. 3 with mugatu (who was the flamboyant villain in Zoolander played by Will Ferrell).
Can't believe I forgot about Tyler Durden too! Though he may not be a full blown villain, he is one of the greatest characters ever in one of the greatest movies ever made.

I've only seen "Silence of the Lambs" and "Hannibal" so far, but you definately don't need to see "Hannibal" to appreciate him. For some reason I love villains with brains and charismatic dialogue. There's something about the way Anthony Hopkins says "Why hello, clarice" that sends chills down my back. The fact that he's so calm also adds to his brilliance. Whenever he's having a quick "snack" he remains so damn calm, and as they said in the first movie, "His pulse never rose above 80" while he was killing this nurse.
However, one crappy thing about "Hannibal" is that it's evident that Anthony Hopkins has aged a decade and put on a few pounds... which sort of makes him less intimidating.

But you MUST admit that, although Hopkins has added the pounds, he STILL makes a good Hannibal. Much better than that other guy that played him in "Manhunter" (aka "Red Dragon" that was made years ago. A terrible film that no one should be tortured through...).
As much as I love Anthony Hopkins's interpretation of Hannibal, I also just love the character in the books. Red Dragon's probably my favorite, though Such fun.
Strong Bad is from www.homestarrunner.com If you haven't spent some time reading strong bad E-Mails, you really should I also love "Cuddles" and the military animal (sorry, can't remember his name) from www.happytreefriends.com That's a close fourth behind Strong Bad
