In The Matrix (movie one) Smith said "The first matrix was designed .......... then it was redesigned to this, the peak of your civilization" - the AniMatrix didn't say anything new about that really other than sparking fan speculation about the end of Second Renesaunce II, so ... where are you getting the idea that the third matrix was one thing and the second matrix was not?
