they didn't use the emp because jue whas still in the matrix, and then if they did they coudn't go any were. oke they would of destroyed the surounding sentinels but the rest would of come in and go for the kill, the osirus would of been a sitting duck then !

lol yeah her name is Jue, i love how people have so much trouble picking up names of main characters in movies. I showed my friend the matrix a little while ago and for the first hour and a half she thought that his name was Neill, not neo....

Gonna have to disagree. The priority was not love. The priority was getting the message to zion. Remember if the message wasn't delivered, zion would have NO IDEA the sentinels were coming, and therefore no m2 or m3... if the EMP had been charged and she had died before getting the message to the mailbox, zion & neo and everybody would have failed. If you remember he was waiting to blow the emp, she called him as soon as she dropped off the envelope, but it was too late.

And it blew up because the computers and engines and stuff just took on too much damage.

the engines were also badly damaged and when the system core got hit it blew. killing jue's body. and here spirit/mind body whas dead then also

If they were going to go to use the EMP the sentinels might have sensed it like they did in Reloaded and they might have launched a bomb at the Osiris then that would have made for an even quicker ending and Jue wouldn't have gotten the package to the mail drop.

but all the machines were in one place at that point, they were all in the dock and they ship had already chrashed, and the machines ran and failed, then 01 sent what they had left to the defenseless Zion with a massive hole in the gate.

If the Osiris used its EMP not every machine would of been hit becuase of the sheer number of them trailing behind them, and after Jue Jjacked in they couldn't do it until she go tto the drop point, sadly she thought it would be a laugh to twirl around and waste time instead of just getting to the drop point so by the time she got there the crew (aside from Thaddeus who wasn't in the position to jack her out and she would probably not wish to be torn to shred by a machine when she opened her eyes) was dead and could fire the EMP allowing them to live for another few moments...
