The last time i was watching revolutions i noticed that the kid who opens the gate at the end kinda looks like the kid from kids story. they might have modeled his appearance based on this person.

'The Kid' from 'Kid's Story' is the same kid. Thats why when he tells Neo "You saved me", Neo says "You saved yourself, Kid". Its cos he self-substantiates. They call him Kid, and its a name that kinda stuck i guess.

That character is definately unofficially called 'Kid', it probably is official though. Check the credits to find out.
