One reason I love the trilogy is because it has the best fashion style EVER. I'm a goth and I wear goth clothing. Are any of you gothic and how do you like there fashion style?

Not a lot of it is Gothic, Trinity has the most Gothic of them all. Morpheus has a very formal dress sense with the suit and such. Neo is wears a preists cossack (sp?) which could be Gothic i suppose. But Trinitys latex, bondage esc clothes really give her a darker feeling than she has in the Real World.

But what about all the exiles. And every trench coat in the movies are gothic.

Exiles are extremely gothic, but that was to give the idea that they are under control, when you see the Hel Club you see a hell of a lot of bondage stuff going on down there, where as Zion had a more free act to it.

The Merovingians Chateau however isn't Gothic at all, until you get to the under parts, its quite a classical place with the Great Hall and such.

Not every trench coat is Gothic, although due to the amount of Goths that were them they are being estabished as such. Personally i think if Goths didn't wear the black trench coats like Neo does in the first one, more people would be mimicing the Matrix fashion. I've seen a lot of people put off of getting a Neo coat just because they don't want to be labeled as something.
