I hear everywhere I go that the Mero was a previous "the one". But thats not true I'm just trying to get this clear to any idiots out there who thinks he was. He obviously not because when the oracle is talking to neo in M2 she says "there is a program and he is one of the oldest of us." PROGRAM. Ones cannot be programs. DUHHHHHH!!!!

Coming from the person that still thinks the twins are alive, this is somewhat ironic.

At least the Merovingian theory is accurate, He has indepth knowledge of the system, same with Neo. Persephone said he was like Neo when they first got there. After the One goes through the door its possible he/she, become a program since there "real" presense is destroyed. Just because he's a program doesn't mean he wasn't a One.

but how could he be a "THE ONE" if he told us that he fought and survived neo's preddecessors? and if he is a one then why try to kill noe and trinity? if he is the one or one of the ones?

also why would he keep thi information from us? and why in game would he only call a merv only party? huh any suspicions here? quite frankly ye their are. because there havent been any in game all machine parties now have there? nope.

Like i said its just a popular Theory based on what we know of him.

Both cases may be correct. Hear me out:
-The Merovingian was one of the first Ones.
-After he entered the Matrix, he was archived as a Program at some point.
-Something happened that either:
a) caused the Merovingian to become an enemy of others, for unknown (to us) reasons, or
b) corrupted the programming of the Merovingian Program.

Like i've said its a really good Theory, and like all the other programs he was expecting Neo, meaning he's seen this situation before.

Maybe after his turn to a program the next One completed his task and the Merovingian was to be deleted and he choose Exile instead
