alright, this topic is for all you computer lovers. i am building my first super gaming PC (that is what i like to call it anyway). this project will be a long one. i just ordered a very nice case two days ago. the next thing i will be buying, is the power supply. since i want it to be gaming pc, i am thinking of a 500 watt. but i am not much of an expert on power supplies. so does anybody know any good retailers that i might consider buying a power supply from?
like i said, this will be a piece by piece project. after the power supply, i will buy the video card. so if any of you want to lend a helping hand or thought, just let me know.

He wants to build it, Arse. I'd go with an Ultra power supply with X-Connect cables, because they incredibly simplify cable management, which improves airflow, thus keeping your system cooler, AND they glow under blacklight, which is an added bonus.

As for you vidcard, you might as well wait until you get the rest of the components, since video card technology is everchanging and you want to pay as little as possible.
