no that wasn't a knock at Flash, I was completely serious. it'd look like "The Matrix Has You" and "The Matrix Still Has You" only it'd be serious, not a parody.

Don't get me wrong i've seen all Newgrounds has to offer when it comes to the Matrix. the thing is all of them are comedy. I don't think people would care for a dramatic story in Flash.

hrm ... well I've seen several serious flashes. The trouble is that for anything but comedy, the graphics and effects have to be awesome, the music has to be awesome and the voices have to be good. Otherwise they'll say its boring and they'll be right.

Exactly, Comdey is one thing that is easy to pull of using Flash, Where as people don't really want to sit down to make a serious production, it is however as you said a real shame since only one aspect or a really potential program is being used.

I've seen some pretty interesting things on Flash myself, however the popular ones remain comedy, i suppose if you can Sit-Comise the Matrix into something like Friends then that would be better than just more and more parodies.

I think a tribute is taking an idea and adding to it based on the characters and environments where as parodies use the exact same thing but in a more comedic context.
