She's recovering quite well according to reports- the 38-year-old already has some mobility in the new tissue and has proven herself able to speak and talk fairly clearly, despite earier reports saying she'd have to undergo extensive speech therapy. It'll be another six months before the nerves really start to regenerate, though, so who knows how much feeling she'll have. She also doens't blame the dog for the attack (it was her own) and has since then gotten another dog to replace the first which was euthanized after the attack.
