Speaking of concerts, I just got back from seeing Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, & Relient K. Dang it blew my mind; almost literally, cuz I can't hear a thing. Thought this would be a good place to post that- unmoderated forums rule!!!

The main purpose is to try and put some life back into this forum, but any of those examples you mentioned will fit. Anything goes. Flame people, discuss politics and religion, bitch about anything you want, etc. This can be conducted in a serious manner, though more often than not I'm guessing it'll be humorous. As I saw someone mention, not every discussion has to turn into a flame war, but the replies for such serious discussions do not need to be veiled for the sake of being political correct or trying not to offend someone.

I still don't get it. The reason we try not to offend people in serious discussion is because it would sidetrack the discussion and focus it on the wrong points. Kind of seems like a pointless exercise, but I guess not everything has to have a point. Meh, we'll wait and see.

It's a free for all room. Somewhere you can still use your common sense (ie instant ban if pron or warez links or images pop up, as that is the general forum's no. 1 rule Period) yet not worry about stepping on toes. The christian thread for example. It should be taken lightly if you're a christian and non christian, yet seriously enough that if you want to step in and speak your mind on either side of it to do so without repercussion or moderation. If at the end of the day you find you're uncomfortable in here it's better to not enter. The place is basically somewhere to shoot the proverbial shit, and nothing more.
