Hi there...I am a Lance Corpral in the Army cadets and have fired a GP Rifle, a 2.2 rifle, a Light support weapon (like a machine gun) and a normal hand gun. Plaus I got to drive a challanger two tank when we were on camp...it was so cool

Only fired Handguns really, nothing bigger. A friends of mine is a bit of a gun nut

Of course as a matrix fan I have some very good Fire-arms. Like an M16-A1, Beretta 95(.45 caliber), UZI Sub machine gun with red dot, 22 gauge.

The G-41 assault rifle had been developed in early 1980s from HK-33E assault rifle as a companion to the G-11. While the caseless G11 had to be issued to the front line troops, the G-41 had to be issued to second line troops. When G-11 programme collapsed due to financial and political reasons in early 1990s, the G-41 had been offered for many customers but found no sales, being of high quality, but too expensive.

Basically, the G-41 is a further development of the early G-3 rifle, having the same roller delayed blowback action, but chambered for 5.56mm NATO ammunition. The G-41 also featured the 0-1-3-30 trigger group, STANAG compatible magazines and scope mountings, silent bolt closure device (similar to the "forward assist device" on the M16A1 and M16A2), integral dust cover on the ejection port, and integral side-folding carrying handle. The G-41 could be issued with fixed plastic butt or with telesopic (folding) butt.

Umm RA...I wouldn't use this weapon for home security. This one would simply be for recreation. I happen to have an interest...a passion if you will for weapons. It runs in the family and I was taught at a young age how to handle a weapon, fire a weapon, protect myself, etc. A lot of women don't have a passion such as this one but hey...I never really followed the norm anyway. Why be sheepish. I think this weapon would be over doing it on the home security end.

A simple weapon is enough for home security. There are those pesky laws that say killing is wrong and a no no. If you catch a thief in your house and have it out on your lawn...you better drag his dead ass back into the house or you could be in quite a bit of trouble. All you need is a weapon for stopping power or I will say at least in a situation like that. If your life is truely threatened then yeah..a bit more is in order.
