well doing so that is what I dont get. If sati did make the sun rise then that is her purpose. so then why did she not have a purpose at first but now she some how does? could this be because of her metting neo and he some how inspired her or being with the oracle some how showed her the way?

Remember the scene in which Neo and Trinity make love under an Arch? Many people believed this to be a testimony of love or something like that. Yet they were completely oblivous to 'Arch'/'Architect'. This was a clear reference to the mating between the Oracle and the Architect.
This also explains the significance of Sati. She is not just a little girl. In many ways, she is like Neo. However, she is on the side of the rebels, yet has complete control over her abilities. Sati is the new one, the solution should a neo-Smith arise, with the same capabilities. This is why Sati has her powers.

You're ideas intrigue me... Thank you for letting me see the light, HU! It's so clear now... Don't you people see it? The signs are everywhere! If you take the name "Thomas Anderson" and rearrange the letters, and then add some letters and drop some out, you can spell Architect! Hence the fact that the Architect is Neo's daddy!
And AO - Sati always had a purpose. It just wasn't realized until later on.
