body tattoos/peircings

if you have seen the movie "donnie darko" when he wakes up on the golf-course and he has 28:06:42:12 written on his left forearm? (end of the world)
well i got that tattooed (today!) also on my left fore-man, it looks almighty cool, still painful at the moment though.

sometimes people have pretty interestng places that have been tattooed/peirced so it got me thinking.. does anyone else have any tattoos (what are they of?) or peircings (and where?)

it sounds cool. could you take a picture of it and post it up here?

oh and no i dont have any tattoos but im planning to get some when i have the money.

check back in about 1-2 hours and i will a pic up on here, although it looks really red at the moment...

back, color i wrote an explanation for not being able to get the picture up in the midnight thread, its becasue i have lost one of the connection cords for the camera... but as soon as i find it i will post it (along with my matrix watch picture)

and yes, i do have some peircings. i got the right handside of my lip done, and two bar-ball (the tounge studs) in my left hand wrist..

yeah.. what they did was just pick up the skin above the wrist, and peirce it, it took a while to heal though becasue i used my hand so often, and it feels really wierd when i move my hand around, but i like them...

do you know anyone that has interesting peircing/tattoos colour?

this is a really disgusting story, but a mate of mine does trampolining.. and he got like a cult tattoo up his spine, and when you get a tattoo all the skin is soft and tendr.. anyway it wasnt proberly healed and while his was on the tramp, the skin tightened on his back, and teared up his spine, it was kind of funny in a sadistic type of humour...

uh... i know a girl who has three surface peircings along her collar bone...and another girl who has about 6 peircings on her lip, both eyebrows, both sides of her nose aswell as the middle, lots of other peircings that i cant remember, and a tatoo on her tits that when shes wearing a shirt it tooks like a butterfly, but shes showed me and its actually a fairy holding an axe...

i know this kid at my school who gotm his lip peirced and they kicked him out of school.

well i am holidays from school at the moment.. i wonder what they will say about my tattoo and peircing's (i only got them done a month ago and school starts back up in another 3 weeks)

i got to a private catholic (no, i am not a catholic) school so im hoping they wont kick me out, but just in case i have prepared my excuse

No piercings for me besides my ears, and in the spring I'm getting some scroll work done on my lower back. My husband has finally finished the drawing....... Compared to him my body is extremely tame -- he's got 8 tattoos, all his own art, piercings in both ears, his nipples, and his septum (he doesn't wear the nose ring much anymore though). Nipple rings are fun to play with, but he says it's the most painful thing he's done to his body.

i also have stretched earlobes, you know when you see people walking around with strange objects through their ear-holes?
well thats me.. i can fit a battery in my left ear, and pen though the other, but i just put coloured tubing in them.

When did you start on them? The stretched ears I mean. I think that if your "God's command" excuse doesn't work you should simply remind them that catholic school is just temporal -- your body is your own forever. Or take the irreverent route, and be happy they kicked you out.....

i started to stretch them about a year ago, it hurt a while at first, but now its ok..
yeah i dont know what i will do about school... maybe i should just blame a teacher for sexual harrasment, sue them and get the school to give me a cash settlement, that way i wont feel so bad about being expelled, and think of the publicity! ;)

i got a tattoo on my back. i putted it there 10 day's after my 16th birthday.

when i'm 18 i'm going to put another tattoo on my right arm. a dragon or wolf mabey.

hey thats a pretty cool tat you got there freddy. i want to get something else done but i am not sure what.. something matrix related would be cool. i was thinking a white rabbit on my shoulder, but people wouldnt coincide it with the matrix, just that i like white rabbits...
i thinking of a anime style tattoo would be cool, but they are so god-damn expensive because of the animation and color involved

put it on to a place where your customers can't see it. upper arms, your back, upper legs, your butt or penis (maar dat zou ik je niet aan raden, dat is de meest pijnlijke plek om een tattoo te zetten)

dont worry, i will have the picture up here soon, but i kind of get a little lazy when it comes to hooking up the camera. i still have to post the picture of my matrix watch. but dont worry it will be posted.. (it's still red and icky at the moment though)

That tattoo sounds pretty cool but do you not think you'll get tired of it very quickly and soon it will lose it's originallity?

I've got a little fairy with devil horns and a tridon a the bottom of my back, just above my bum. Hurt like hell!

I also got a small "Carpe Diem" on my ankle recently, it didn't hurt as much as I was under the inflence of acholhol!

I know there are tribes to whom peircings and earlobe stretching and all kinds of body modifications are important, but if you're a kid in America it just looks dumb, to me, personally.

nah, it's only dumb if what you've put on your body is meaningless to you personally.

otherwise it's a form of ornamentation not unlike any other that we adopt -- makeup, hair styles, particular clothing.

for some it is also significantly more meaningful than that -- my husband can describe the symbolism & connection to his life for each & every one of his tats, for example. the uffington horse connects both my love of horses and a bit of the pagan too (Epona, the horse goddess), and is a tangible reminder of an interesting time in my life.

Yes Tempest, I agree with you. But I've never seen a tattoo that I liked, I always think they look wrong, however that's just my opinion. I have peirced ears, when I was younger I think I had like ten holes, but thank god they didn't scar and now it looks like I never had more than two. And I really don't ever want to get a tattoo.

Never say never, Valasher.. Perhaps I will brand myself the all-seeing eye.. I heard that hurts more.. And pain IS good!

pain is temporal, HU. tats are, well, i guess in reality they're no longer forever either! frankly, i think the third eye on a shrink would be pretty intriguing..... you'd probably attract an interesting clientele.

i know that i think long and hard about getting a tattoo when i get it done, i would never get something like a love one's name tattooed onto me or something that i didnt feel resembeled me in someway. to some people a tattoo is a very personal thing t0 others it just something to show off. tattoos are just another way of life, people do it because they have the need to show the world what they would like to be perceived as. if someone got there artwork tattooed over there body (tempest01 husband) dont you think thats one way of expressing himself?

you dont have to be apart of a tribe/culture just to justify the needs of getting a tattoo/pericing its art and expression.

i understand what your saying although valasher, but you ovbiously feel that you are able to express yourself to the world in another way, comfortabley without have to get a tattoo/peircing.. when you were younger you obviously felt that that the you needed to express yourself in a different way.

I have peircings, but no tatts. My folks say i have to wait till Im 18, ands thats a year away...sooo

I have 3 earings in my right ear, 4 in my left, my belly button and my nipple. Nipple caned like anything, but it looks mad as.

I want a tatoo across my lower back, something celtic, and i also want a tatt of a barcode on my hip and a little white rabbit on my shoulder, also because it represents matrix. or some matrix code going down my shoulder. that would look awesome.

i was thinking about the matrix code, and i got a quote from the tattooing (SP?) body shop, he said it would proberly be around AU$1000-$2000 just for the code to run down the left shoulder down the back... the donnie darko tat i got cost AU$700, i need to save a little longer to get the code.

$1000-2000 bucks??? Sheeeeeeeet. But im guessing thats a large bit of mattrix code? i would only want it to be about 3 or 4 centimetres wide and maybe 4 cms long. kinda like this -

and stalin, i go to a private catholic school too...its sucks a$$, doesn't it? my homeroom teacher thretend me with time out just cos i had one too many earings in one ear..he he he, he's gonn a $hit himself when we go back, cos i got some extra ones durign the holidays!!!

im going to hate what they are going to say, i have come to a descion, i will wear my school blazer (not matter how dorky) the whole time covering up my forearm.. that should do it, but its going to be bloody hot the whole time :(
