i dont seem to know much about this matrix online game, i have read all i can about it, and signed up @ matrixonline. but i dont think that when the game comes out i will be able to understand it, and i will be left in the dark and this site will be full of talk about it, and i will just be lost..
Sorry to hear the game's got you depressed. Quite frankly, I'm looking forward to it.
Have you tried other MMORPG's? Perhaps you'll be better than you think :)
no, i am really loking forward to the game, but everyone has got teams and such, and i havent played anyother MMPORG's... i just dont want to get lost in it all.. oh well i am sure i will find my way around sometime soon... i hope
I think you'll be fine ;) I haven't done much MMORPGing, but am looking forward to the game nonetheless. Not EVERYONE will be with a "team," unless the game is set up to put people on them (hovercraft crews, perhaps?).
There are people who are going it alone but still having contacts in the game, for if they decide to do missions together, so maybe if you go it alone until you know what your doing you could meet up with groups/other people later on?
I don't know myself, i've read a bit about it though so im sure you can do this and you'll be fine.
My PC doesn't have a good graphics card, but maybe if i get one or there's a link so i can play it connected to the net from my PS2 i'll be able to join in.
I hope so, i really do. It'd be a pretty big thing to miss out on.
I can get an ethernet connection for my PS2 and connect it to my PC but i don't know if TMO is being released for the PS2 so i'll just have to wait.
edit > > > check out the lone gunman movement thread near this one, you can go it alone and then meet up with others if you decide to, i just had a look.
yeah thanks eon, i will check out that thread.
i got broadband, and brand new spankin computer (VAIO PENTIUM M 1.0GHz WiFi NOTEBOOK PCGTR2.. *drewls* oh yeah)
so i will cross my fingers and jump in amoungst it all
MMORPGs aren't really all that tough, and at least you'll have been there from the start, Stalin. It's harder to go in when the world is already heavily populated with far more experienced & powerful players. Then you REALLY have to watch your back. As it is, even those that are hellbent on destruction will not have that much up on anyone else, at least not for awhile.
My only concern is whether they'll have properly functioning servers. That was the biggest pain in the @ss with MMORPGing, in my experience. I died more than once simply because I got flipped offline in the middle of a battle (or fleeing from one!) :(
Indeed, Tempest. And judging by the bandwidth a project of this size will need, I am not sure whether they will succeed in creating the perfect gaming experience.
don't worry Stalin6025. I'll protect you ;)
