Well, he is huge, but not as big as he looks in the picture. It's just the angle. That's the most recent picture I have of me and I usually don't have any pictures of me without him in them anymore.

Thanks :), I wanted the image to look like I'm in an action sequence in a Matrix film. I like how the image jumps out the computer screen, and has that in your face effect.

In the image, a couple of agents came in my studio to stop me from producing a song that will save the world from destruction, but that won't happen with out a fight. :D

I got the dark movie effect by placing a light in the back of the desk, and a light on the side wall. The light on the side wall gives the half dark/half light effect on me and the desk, that makes one side of my body glow, and the top of the desk and right studio monitor. The light in the back is the main light that produce the dark effect. Get a digital camera and point it towards a light, and watch what happens, you'll see how the lighting effect changes. Don't stand right in front of a light, but at least 5 feet away from it. You can control how much dark effect you want by how you angle the camera, use a tripod.

The sheet in the background is not white, it's 4 blue shower curtains connected together for the photo shoot. I purchased all 4 curtains for $4.00 bucks at a .99 cent store, it's better than spending an arm and a leg for the professional background products.

If you want a professional looking background for taking cool picture's of just about anything, use shower curtains, they come in many different colors. Connect all 4 of them in a square shape together with clear tape. You can install in on your wall using thumb-tabs or tape. If you're using tape be sure to use a tape that won't damage your walls. The shower curtain should hang on the wall on down to the floor like in the image below with the desk.

Want to make your own custom professional background drops using flat color paint and thin white bed sheets, let me know and I'll show you how.

I designed and built the desk using MDF (Medium Density Fiber Board), Thermofused Melamine Board in Satin Black, and a High-Presuere Laminate in Marble Blue.

I was going to say, I've never seen someone laminate particle board on a desk with marble laminate. I could tell it was MDF, though, I was going to ask who made it, but you say you did. Want to see what I did? Well, it is a picture thread.

First, this is when I was half done. When I first met my husband, he had this ugly orange bench and table with 14 year old stained flower fabric, so I made it grey and began to stain it red mahogany:

So then it was all stained dark and made pretty:

And then I changed the fabric to very light, because grey doesn't go with dark red very well. However, I've recently changed it to green ultra suede with tan ultra suede pillows, so it look even better than this picture. This is the last picture I have of it at our old place.

Forgot the last picture, sorry. I don't have a digital camera, so I can't take a picture of it now, but it looks 1000 times better than it used to. Don't have this chair or that little greenhouse anymore though.

That was a while ago in a one bedroom apartment, we don't live there anymore. Plus, I didn't know much about decorating back then, so everything was black and white, now it's better. We have lots more space here and have many more nice things than we did back then. That's why I wish I could take a picture of that thing now, it looks so much better, but no digital camera at the moment.

i checked out your site that you posted in a thread somewhere on the revolutions forum, lots of pictures of the little one...i tried taking that test too, but it wouldn't give me results...am i an anomaly then?

Are you talking about the matrix persona quiz? I've had that on there forever, someone else posted it in another forum somewhere on here. That quizilla has a funky server, the first time I tried to even view the page it took forever or it wouldn't work. Anyhow, they've added more characters to it since Reloaded came out. You should try again.

Thanks Matrix_Fan_0.2 and smith_fan. I do love my kid. I haven't been away from him for more than a couple of hours since he was born. I don't really understand people who have children and leave them in daycare right away so that they can get back to their life, their job. I guess I would do it if I had to, and I understand that it's not in every mother's best interest to stay at home with their child, but it is for me. I will have to find somewhere to leave him as I'm returning to my life (school and work) finally in January. But he will be about 2 years old by then, and I feel like I have given him a good start. It's like, when you have a child your life becomes all about them. Or at least I think it should. I'll stop the mom rant now.

I do I do. I have been reading posts looong before I signed up. But there are THOUSANDS of posts, and honestly, It is a huge task that would take a very very very long time.
