I used to be able to do it but now that button is gone, along with all the smiley faces.

Theres something down the bottom under "submit reply" that says whether smilies and everything is on or off. That might help. This is when posting. And there's one above it too. Above attach file thing.

Yeah, it says "Disable Smilies in This Post" and it's turned off here, but I still can't press the smilie buttons. Here's my picture, anyway. I forgot to attach it to my last post.

ONce I get my trench coat (hopefully today) my picture will be up and I do agree, this was for posting pictures, not chatting.

This is after all a forum. Designed for discussions. And maybe pictures etc.. So chatting isn't bad. Although some more photos would be nice, not that I am worried about more photos being added. Just something else to talk about. Or if not talk, compliment.

This forum is actually intended solely for pictures. It's okay to compliment or talk about the photos a little, but lately it's been getting out of hand.

If your picture is less than 102 kb you can attach it to your post. The thing is both my pictures are 109 kb. There must be something I can do. Maybe save it as a gif instead or something?

if u use paint, click save as, and under the bit where u write the name of da file theres a bit to choose what file u wanna save it asm, JPEG, GIF etc. but sum of them will change the way ur pic looks eg the colour or qual

I just found out two ways to make your JPEG file smaller using photo editor.
You could either click image>>resize or you could click file>>save as>>more and change the JPEG quality factor.

Here's one of me from a coupla years ago. It's not very matrixy but I still have a really cool outfit.

uff, the size & use of jpg/gif depend on the colors of the pics, I think. So if the jpg had only 2 colors, it would be quite smaller als gif - didn't check it, but read it once. But Flash is the optimal thought.

I know a fair bit about computers. I don't stay on the computer chatting 24/7 if thats what you are thinking. I can blame Windows for having soo many errors and corrupt files. I got the avatar to work.......thankfully!!! ;) I'm trying to figure out this avatar thing myself!!! The only thing is, I can't find clips from the movie....like from the MOVIE....not the trailers. Where do you find your clips...or GET your clips. I've tried freeze frame thingy by playing the dvd on my computer but its not working out :(

I haven't a clue how to use the actual DVD. I just use trailers. Usually can find what I want or whatever anyone else wants. I'd like to know how to use the DVDs. I think you have to rip it to your hard drive and then use it.

Oh....I better buy an extra dvd before I try that...knowing me...it might end up in pieces :D

and flex the reason it doesent attach is cos theres something wrong with the click and browse attach option, but crahan assured me that they are fixing it so just hang for a while!

u can just uplaod it to ur website(if u have one) and then type the URL

Thats how it's done. For now thats the only way to get the avatars working.... Until it's fixed..
