Communism and the USA

Is communism all that bad sure it didnt work for Russia formerly U.S.S.R but then there is china it sure is working for them their crime rate is one of the lowest in the world so also is their rate of disease outbreak and sure their population control methods are questionable but look at india in 5-8 years their population numbers will be more than that of china, so should we have birth laws or continue until the overpopulation problem is well beyond control and we all slowly starve to death or by then the goverment realizes their mistake and starts to massacre hundreds or thousands, but communism ensures that this never becomes a problem at least not for a long time, then we have america sure we probaly have more freedoms than anyone else in the world but at what cost we also have the highest crime rate in the world and whats the goverments solution more and more laws every year and we always want our goverment to lower taxes then we complain that there arent enough doctors the roads are messed up, not enough schools well you wonder why theres no money to do it for one taxes are lower so theres less of it and well get a new fighter plane for a few million dollars faster than we will get a new school and some say their freedom is worth all the problems and communism is horrible because their are very few choices if any yet a large percentage of the population dont do crap with their lives anyway so what difference would it make if someone else told them what to do
so when you wiegh the advantages to disadvantages to communism, the advantages greatly outweigh the disadvantages

You aren't real bright, so I'll try to be nice about this. Get an education. The government isn't going to massacre people just because of overcrowding. The government is composed of people who don't have to deal with this problem because they live in their nice rich white neighborhoods. Once again, this has nothing to do with communism, and everything to do with human rights abuses.

Personally, I think you should go live in china for a while, see how you like it. Maybe you wouldn't mind it too much in one of the major cities, but outside of that there's nothing but endless poverty. China is a ****hole because they've already got too many people and not enough resources. The united states has a very modest growth rate, probably less than china's even. So I guess you are wrong on about everything you said.

If you think the US government gets up to internal dirty tricks, then just try living in China!

ALL the media is state controlled and religious, philospohical and ethical freedom is virtually non-existent.

For example, a certain Tai-chi group is banned from practising in any public place! If you don't know what 'tai-chi' is, look it up to see how absurd the banning is!!

The average disposable income in URBAN areas is about 95US dollars/month.

In the rural areas it's as low as 1US/month!

As we speak there are hundreds of ballistic missles aimed at Taiwan, ready for the chance to attack if any hint of independence is declared.

When you say 'media', are you referring to the news or just all forms of entertainment? Because I noticed that many DVD bootlegs come from Hong Kong...

hong kong is a bit of a special case, at least for now.

Obviously 'bootlegged' stuff isn't going to be tied to the government!

I'm referring to TV networks and ALL forms of publishing...Newspapers, books, etc...

For example, Hilary Clinton's autobiography was edited by the Chinese government without her permission...

Thats messed up to say the least. I don't know what makes people do things like that, especially the Tai Chi group thing, maybe they didn't pay their taxes?

And i think Tiawan should be given independance, along with the Republic of Ireland as a whole, but somethings never change.........or do they?

I'm sure some spirits in the afterlife remember something called change, i hope they reincarnate with their memories intact, and maybe they could enlighten the future generations.

In fact China was never a loyal communist country, the Chinese used communism ideology to reshape their nation from inside, and to allow the -upcoming- leaders in Beijing to gain the benefits of the revolution.

Unlike USSR, China rarely helped communist societies engaged in struggle against imperialism, except by revolutionary speechs of course!

Chinese like their ancestors built "a wall" all around, to "capsulate" themselves and refusing to "share", where "sharing" is the core of communism.

In many cases Chinese showen their real metal, including -in recent past years- the bombing of their embassy in Belgrade by Americans during the aggression against Yugoslavia.

Instead of caling for the war to end, they just wanted an apology from US (mainly to silence the anger mob within China)!

Their reaction when they captured American surveillance plane picturing Chinese shores.

Instead of sueing the crew "as USSR done before", they turned them over to US, and sent the plane later!

China is veto member in SC, but never veto the resolutions made to oppress struggling nations.

Not to forget that China is an important trade partner with USA, which have always been the "nest" of imperialism, as Chinese kept saying.

China could easily create a crisis for the dollar and the US economy by shifting to the euro or gold.

But since it has a gigantic trade surplus with the US ($105billion), it has no desire to provoke a depression.

China would be the last country to represent communism.

and china is not a communist government, commmunism is not a form of government, it is a political philosophy
it gets strong backing by socialists, which socilaism is a form of government

to say china is communist is true, but to say that the chinese government is communist is false

in fact, the USSR was not communist, the were socialist, it is right in the name, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (or united, i cant remeber, but thats not the piont)

communism can only work if everyone and i mean everyone is a willing participant, unlike socialism, where its either you live with it or get out

yes and how fast do you think they would actually launch those ballstic missles if anything they would just send out military forces because the launch or detonation of nuclear weapons anywhere would be the possible onset of World War III because america as always will get into isssues that dont concern them and it will turn to conflict and the only way it would go is nuclear as the chinese army outnumbers the US 1000 to 1 and the conflict will spread unless it is contained and china and the US annihalate each other with their hundreds of thousands of nuclear and non-nuclear weapons, and i think Eon dreamhacker is right some things might never change and taiwan declaring its independence may be one of them.

NeoMeansNew you're right china's goverment is not communist there have never been any communist goverments they simply cant exist just like a utopia and the USSR during Joseph Stalin's 30 year rule was hardly a socialist goverment either, much more of a tyrannical dictatorship that resulted in the imprisonment or killing of millions, not until after Stalins rule did it become something resembling a socialist.

The country's name usually indicate the political idelogy of the country, but not always.

Example "German Democratic Republic" it wasn't a democratic country!

It was sent back to US in July 5, 2001.
And it wasn't shot down, it colloid with Chinese jet plane, but survived "unlike the Chinese" and landed in Lingshui airfield, Hainan Island.

true, israel is not norway, but the welfare state, as well as the kibbutzim around the country are being socially dismanteled, while the fanantic millitiristic fantasies of the few become facts on the ground, in the form of settlements and illigal outposts, leaving most of the citizens to pay the heavy toll in life and in cash.

furthermore, in this surreal situation, the obvious outcome is massive tax cuts, followed by massive social welfare cuts, meaning the rich get richer and the poor get the picture, sadly, anyone who tried to interfere is "destroying the economy" as tax cuts must be made to "save it",
if there was money needed, it could be taken from the settelments' tripled budget and not from the poor.

but israel chooses to be capitalist.
saving the economy in israeli right wing terms, means saving the middle class and upwards, which makes about 2/3 of the total population.
famalies which up until now went overseas once a year, can do it twice, those who hired 3 star hotels, can now afford 4 star hotels, all this for the price of the families living in the street, and there are many who do so.
they can not get thier usual social benifits, because the money must be used for "more importaint matters", such as building a fence in palestinian territory and then moving it back to the green line for the price of 2 BILLION dollars!
the money needed to fund labour's law prposal for a daily meal for each israeli child, christian, jewish, or muslim. of course, as they say, there are "more important matters"

Why look at israeli crimes in Gaza, when you can find them in south Tel Aviv?

True Communism Is a government Run for The People By the People. It is not this for of Communism that Russia had or that China had. The only country that had been able to make it work is Canada.

Actually, I heard that the only "countries" that managed to run the communist system were the kibbutzim in Israel... but that movement's following apart now too...

In theory, communism works great. In reality, it's another story. The human race just isn't evolved enough at this period in time for it to be a success.
