How do the Bush's do it. George Sr. won in 88, George Jr. won in 00 and 04. How can one family be the President of a nation out of the past 16 years, 8 of those year's controlled by Bush's, and probably another 4 years if Bush get's the proper guidance once again in 04. 12 year's out of the past 20 year's a Bush was in office. I'd prefer to see a HIllary Clinton in office, although for some reason she doesn't feel like running in 04. I'm certain when it comes to 2008 Hilary will lose whatever looks she has at the moment, and can't win the 2008 election. Why out a nation of 280 million citizens (well maybe 50 million actual illegal aliens, although some are citizens now because there family members got free citizenship for joining for army), 2 people can control the same house out of so may years.
Are you American's completely blind by whom your voting for. Why don't you request for some fresh faces to have any ACTUAL democracy. What is America's problem? Why do you allow yourself to be BushWhacked. Wait a sec, turn on your tv, pay attention to the news, since it might actually tell you something ( but odd's are it wont), or turn on a funny tv show that really isn't funny since its only making fun of you the audience for paying attention. How can this loser tv host be making millions of $$$ for your viewing time on their horrid show. I dont know how they do it, but they grab suckers out of the crowd, and eventually the crowd is tightly nitched to make sure they wont ever leave.
This is a societal problem. Put down your remotes, pay attention to yourself, particularly yourself and your family. And decide to not watch, to actually think. And to work your ass of for now, so that later on in the future you won't be taken advantage of all the time.
Why be Bushwhacked and delayed of reality. Lay it all down for what? For a democracy that has a stench filed with crooks that steal your life away. If you are this way, then sad it is to be you. Hopefully you'll die of a severe heartattack since all the whoppers your eating finally get the best of you.
Responses, comments, addons. Newbs fly away no one wants you anyway :)
such anger.......I can only say that I have suffered greatly here in the country held under the thumb of the Bush dynasty....
Yes...I it is unfortunate that I have to deal with the environment I am forced to live in...these here United States....
Lets see...I did not inherit money so I had to pay my way through college and now I am forced to go every day to a job that I enjoy and am good at and as a result....
I have a great job, making great money.....
I have a great house in a nice neighborhood....
I can do what I want, travel when I want....
My family is well taken care of...they are happy and healthy.
I have had to suffer with the accumulation of a ton of needless luxuries like a 50 Inch LCD television, ridiculously powerfull surround sound, nice cars (2), pool...
Yes...it is a terrible place to live.... but I'm hoping that Hillary will be able to change all of that.
It's the fear.
The fear of being cast out when commenting the government.
America is driven by fear, and the government has enormous power because of this fear. Michael Moore did a great job illustrating that in his movie, Bowling for Columbine.
It is this fear that makes the people vote in an undemocratic way...
And it is this fear that must be removed if we ever wish for a more "democratic" America.
Matthew 7:12,
Homo Universalis
I take it you have voiced your opinion while living in the US and had to face this overpowering fear....that you tried to express an unpopular opinion and felt that your physical freedom and wellbeing was threatened????
It sounds like you have...in fact...your statements are quite definitive.
This pervasive fear was so great that your beloved Michael Moore publically condemed the government on live TV on the Oscars and has suffered no ill effects...except for widespread fame among the extreme left......(even most liberals in the US DO NOT side with Michael Moore)
...wait a minute...I haven't heard from Mike lately...you don't think......!!!!!
people are afraid of change.
The united states is changing a lot, and directed by bush. So it's not that.
We just have a large number of dumb people called conservatives who actually like bush. It's sad.
Are you American's completely blind by whom your voting for
no i dont think anybody wanted bush as a president but florida had to fu(k up everything so now were stuck with this war hungry paranoid whacko for president
What's wrong with Bush? He hasn't done anything to harm me, my family, or my friends, so he's liek a buddy to me. If he hits me then it's on. At least we arn't run by a 190 year old fat ugly queen. It IS a democracy, if you haven't noticed. The people vote who they want, he goes into office, but i DO NOT plan on wanting him next year. THe next prez should be that Alabama judge, I don't care if he is a republican or a democrat.
Malak, you are the exact person I despise. You are the kind of person that Bush uses to kill people in foreign countries.
People like you are everything but patriotic. A true partiot would be fighting Bush, trying to get Bush to resign, or at least make sure he doesn't stay another therm.
Bush is NOT a nice guy. From bad to nice I put him somewhere near milosovich and Hitler. Although I am probably insulting them by this. Hitler killed because he thought it was the "right" thing to do (I a not a neo-nazi or trying to defend adolf hitler's action), Bush kills in Iraq so he can make more and more and more money!
If that is freedom I would rather live in Iraq than in the USA.
-----------------
I have never been to the US and have no intentions of going there, unless it is to prove to Supaman that I can take out a large part of there government by bombing myself upon the white house with a neutron bomb.

what a great argument! :o
So, I could say the following too:
"What's wrong with Hitler? He hasn't done anything to harm me, my family or my friends so he's like a buddy to me. As long as he kills jews and not us, I like him..............." - *notice my sarcasm*?
Do you not think Malak was using sarcasm too? *notice my sardonicism*
HU...you are as blind as the conservatives bowing to Bush...you need to get a 'moore' rounded view than just from one guy who does nothing but highlight the problems, instead of offering up alternatives that might work...
But Ou be Low Hoo, I do not feel like I should solve the problems at all. If an American would rise and offer to solve the problems of the USA, I would immediately, ubndoubtely support him and forget all about mr Moore. However there is no such American. Of course there are people outside the US giving strong arguments, but they don't fascinate me.
It's the realisation that the government is corrupt that fascinates me, it's the reason why I like government conspiracies. I am not blind, just seeking entertainment!
To me, all is fiction!
Homo Universalis
HU,
Yes, I live in "great fear" here in the USA.
And speaking of entertainment, since you are so apt in making such a big (negative) impact somehow in USA and trying to prove something to me:
How about you do move to Iraq like you proposed, and start making your big movement for "freedom" over there and eventually make your way with your grand army to USA?
And try to keep us posted of your success on MM somehow!
Like I said before, I'll definitely see you on CNN then......lol!!
Oh, I have no need to make an impression on America or CNN, frankly I'm trying to do anything but that. However if I visit palestinia and tell a few of those people that the tanks and guns that kill their women and children are made and supplied by the USA, I think I'll have an army.
I can see why you are all afraid, now.
Mortality is a *****.
HU
'PALESTINIA' - HA HA HA! That's a good one!
When you visit 'Palestinia' please tell the rest of the world where it is...is it an unfounded country that you have got your eyes on for your political movement of freedom for all?
HU, YOUR fiction is the funniest!
lol HU, I got a box of rocks that would show you up in a debate.
1. Palestinians don't give a crap where they are made, they care who's using them. They already hate the West because that's what they were taught to hate.
2. You'd have an army of what? 10,000 at the absolute most? Probably more like 1,000. The rest of the people are just a bunch of rock-throwing camera showoffs.
3. Crossing the atlantic. You may have to call in david copperfield for that one.
4. Only then the 'war' with this 'army' would take about ten minutes.
5. back to the drawing board.

Now that the 'Malak Needs An Education' thread is closed, I just remembered this thread...
Oh...those giddy days of yester-year! My first encounter with Malak made me think he was joking! I couldn't believe someone could make such stupid comments and mean it!
hey, these are all just opinions.(no duh) but maybe some of you dont like bush, and that is fine with me.i believe everyone is entitled to their own opinions. (in my own opinion, i think bush is awesome) But why is it worth it to sit here and cry about it if he is president at the moment, why cant we just appreciate the fact that he is president, and support him, even if hes not our most favorable guy? If anyone says the war with Iraq was not neccessary, bush would not have done it. If the capture of sadamm was not neccessary, bush would not do it. All i am trying to say is that we should put up with the people in office for the present term, because there is nothing(one person that is) we can do about it. Please think about this post before rejecting it entirelly.
All Bush's actions were completely necessary. Wow! This really amazes me! I was under the impression that there were no WMD's in Iraq! Wait, though, we weren't dealing with a threat after all (but sadam still "has ties" with al quaeda!), we were freeing the Iraqi people! Bottom line, all stupidity aside, Bush LOST by 600,000 votes! I live in Tallahassee (Florida's capital), and from my point of view the 100 million votes that were tabulated in 2000 counted for nothing. The presidency came down to Katherine Harris, a republican. When the fate of so many are decided by one, that's not a democracy, that's a Dictatorship.

Ghehe.
Why i like that UBB is the very fact that i can find a post that makes me roll on the floor almost everyday.
Terikan you think palestenians are 'rock throwing camera showoffs' that has to be the stupidist things said in this argument.
when you are being daily bombed and shot and losing family members from a ruthless army that destroys for no reason and all you have is rocks or small artilery and you use to defend your life and just happen to be caught on camera it doesnt really mean your showing off its more like trying not to die, you trying living like them you wont find that funny.
With palestinia I was referring to the area of Israel, where the Palestinians reside.
If they are informed that they can stop the production, and delivery of tanks to Israel, I think they will bite. Further, they demonstrated on 9/11 that they were capable of more than just thowing rocks against the towers...

...are you crazy????
What's that? We should support him in any kind because he is the president? No matter how many "mistakes" he did in his career. No matter that he bombed Iraq for NO real reason???? No matter what he does in general...????
If anyone says the war with Iraq was not neccessary, bush would not have done it. If the capture of sadamm was not neccessary, bush would not do it.
it's getting even funnier. What kind of argument is that? So, If anyone says the killing of jews, homos e.t.c wasn't "neccessary", Hitler wouldn't have done it? .......

First of all its called palestine not palestinia.
And there is a country called palestine which existed far before the israelis came to invade their land. Israelis are trying to make a country for themselves, and idioticly they decided to make it in place of an exsisting country and in the middle of all the arab countries, ofcourse they know that the leaders of those countries will not harm them because of the USA being right behind them, however if the USA was to be destroyed or weakned then they would be in big trouble, thats where Bin Laden comes in and where the so called terrorism was created......
Actually, I'm pretty sure the Palestinians themselve don't refer to it either way. Apparently, the message of which area I meant was spread, so I fullfilled my purpose.
I'm sorry if my topography is not very good in English, but it is my second language, so I apologize if I'm not entirely accurate.
HU
Its ok man..... by the way they refer to it as 'Filisteen'
Okay, so I really hate getting involved in the political discussions around here, but.....

Actually, I agree with you to a certain extent. All the b*tching about Bush doesn't do us any good. He's here, and as long as he follows the letter of the law (by whatever circuitous route any given politician is allowed to take) he's not going anywhere. Most of the critical comments made about Bush (here & elsewhere) are highly exaggerated or mightily unsupported -- emotional opinions based upon media hype, & gossip portrayed as fact.
The truth is that life in the US isn't that bad for most people, as illustrated perfectly by bLindsAge. We are inundated by opportunities & freedoms & even wealth. Sure, we have our poor, but our poor, our hungry are fat compared to the starving populations of most countries. We have many assistance services that people can avail themselves of that most countries couldn't even dream of offering. We are a rich country, and our president can't really do much about that -- he doesn't create it, and he doesn't negate it, no matter what his ludicrous budget policy may be.... the system is in place, and only the subtle characteristics of the system can be changed, not the system itself.
BTW, Bush is not a dictator either, no matter what we may want to believe. Even when there are errors in the system (as Florida surely was) the system must still be adhered to, or else all that is left is anarchy.
I'm not saying that Bush is a good president. I think that -- like ALL of our presidents -- he's done some good things and also some glaringly BAD things. But for those of you who seem to obviously not understand it, the US president doesn't get to operate alone... his power is very well circumscribed. (no, not circumcised) He has to act within the limits of US law & international law, and under the advisement of many, MANY individuals & organizations. Congress in particular doesn't just allow our presidents to act willy nilly. Just because some of us (many of us, sometimes) disagree with what our president does DOESN'T make it unlawful.
Anyway, I do wish you all would stop blaming the person & start attempting to understand the policies & the full ramifications of creating & upholding law... and what you can do to change things. Complaining doesn't get anyone anywhere. If you don't like Bush (and you're a US citizen) then you'd better be damn sure to get out there & vote. Cuz I can guarantee you that that's the only way you can effect change.....
Finally, please recognize that NONE of us knows all of the information that a govt leader has access to that motivates his actions. The ONLY thing we have is educated guesses & conjecture -- none of which is fact.

I personally think it's even funnier that you(Smith Fan) think that bush is horrible in every aspect even when he could have just sat there and allowed MORE terrorist attacks on other countries let alone the US, that he could have sat there and watched Sadamm kill HIS OWN people, that he could have sat there and let Sadamm have his little nuclear toys, so he could create WW3, and we ALL would be dead, i mean, come on!!! Like i have said, if you don't like him, FINE. Just put up with him while he's in office. Any more comments?

The american people should not have to "put up" with bush. Even if he is in office, he was elected as the countrys President. "Putting Up" with one's own president isnt right at all. One's country should be proud of there president. Glad and relieved at the decsions he has made. You way of thinking is a little narrow minded Biggraboid, well not narrow minded.. your just being a little melodramitic.
