i have only been posting on this site for about 3months, and i know that isnt a long time, but when i first joined the conversations and threads seemed to be so much more i dont know... full of intelligent theories and such, now it seems to be flaming (which i know i am guilty of in some cases) and useless chit-chat which could be talked about in any forum. there is hardly any matrix related threads anymore and if they are, then there by newbies and it has all been posted before.
i havent seen a new thread in the "the matrix is all around you" thread for about a week now..
this site seems to be going down, i know that alot of people were dissapointed about the banning of some of the 'elders' of the site. i think new and updated rules should be posted.
and maybe it should be up to the admin to make topics which can include matrix discussion with some kind of intelligence.
i find myself replying to things in the lounge with apparent meaning.

so dear admin:
i think you need to meet the standards of which you have held so highly in the past.

ha, when revolutions was released, this place got turned into a n00bfest, and three months ago the site was even deader than it is now. I think this place was at it's height about a month after reloaded was released.
stalin6025

ok, i wasent here a month before reloaded was released.
but Terikan seeing here that you have been here alot longer than me, what can you suggest ways to keep matrixmania off the ground?
Ou Be Low hoo

Revolutions exposed the fallacy that there are deeper meanings to the trilogy...they're just regular sci-fi films...only M1 stands alone...M2 was good, but it is reduced to irrelevancy by M3.

Stalin6025, we did make new rules. It is not up to the administrators and moderators of this site to make this forum what it is, that is up to everyone who posts here. Yes, we (the moderators) are still very interested in the matrix and you will find the majority of our posts to be in the topics just like any member, answering questions, asking some of our own. We wouldn't be here if we didn't love all things matrix. So it's up to you and everyone here to talk about the matrix and bring up your own ideas. There is much more traffic on this site now than there was a month ago, I remember, I was here. So get out there and post. :)

*EDIT* Addition: Did you know that there are unregistered members reading all of the things you post about? There are always plenty of guests here, just look at the page views in each specific forum.

'The Matrix is all around you' forum looks like the best place to be for me considering the fact that most of the stuff in the Revolutions forum seems to be dying out.

I keep checking there but it still seems quiet, maybe it'll come back to life soon.
stalin6025

yes i am still hoping that it will :(
the lounge still seems to be the most popular. which is annoying because all the talk there is about such superficial things, which is obviously why it was set up...
alkazapper

I raised a question about the same thing not so long ago. But the way i said it was kindda dumb. Then something knocked the sense out of me and said " hey even the smallest glitch in the movie can be used as a topic of discussion, including the silliest one". So I started posting again. But i hang around much at the Lounge nowadays.

But I still go back to the Revo section to read if theres anything can interest me in debating. So, here is my tip; just wonder around the site. You'll figure out soon or later what to come up next :)
Jetfire

Well, now that Revolutions was the end of the trilogy, theres nothing left to talk about.. Hence the "Lounge" becoming so popular because none of the topics in there are fully matrix related... All questions have been asked and answered.. (Well, most anyway) :)
*cough*

too late dude, it has allready hit the bottom!!
Valasher

On the contrary, it has not hit bottom. Are you in love with Terikan? You seem to be quoting his propaganda... If you're not happy with the site, then by all means don't post here. You're still welcome to, but why say it has hit bottom when you can't back it up? We have many members here during the day, and generally very many guests viewing the ideas brought up here, so I personally don't see it the way you do *cough*.
