Okay Guy's Lets Have fun With This..

Before the Reloaded was release, rumour has it that Keanu Reeves intended NOT to stars in the MAtrix movie; reason being is that he don't want to be tag as Matrix-guy forever. He was worried that he wouldn't get other role for other movie.

So i'm drawing you guys to play a guessing game....HAD KEANU REEVES NOT STARS IN THE MATRIX SEQUEL, WHO IN YOU MIND IS FIT FOR THE ROLES?

i'm open to all... :)

I'd say Johnny Depp. I think he'd of done a good job at it.

Who else..............Stephen Dorff would of done it aswell i think. I could sit here all morning coming up with names, one more would be Matt Damon.

Johnny Depp oh how can i forget that charming guy...good thinking Eon! But can he Kung-fu?

I don't know if Johnny Depp can do Kung Fu, i don't think he can but i meant if he got trained, he could certainly do the acting part good enough.

i reckon Will Smith would've done good, cos mainly the matrix is black people, but i reckon he would've been pretty funny, anyone else agree?

he would be good if there was a matrix parody because after all his movies he has made i dont think i would be able to take him seriously and after MIB i would keep thinking he was an agent. i think reeves does an excellent job.

KEANU is the one. i can't think of anyone else to play his role...or if there was, i just can't imagine him being as good...or as HOT

christian bale. he has about the same stature as keanu

Funny you should mention Christian Bale, I was watching Empire of the Sun last night. I didn't realize he was such a good actor so young. I think he's about the only one of the people mentioned so far who could pull off being Neo.

Johnny Depp is too Hunter S. Thompsonesque lately.
Stephen Dorff is not that great of an actor, and too many embarrasing sex scenes to do it.
Jet Li might pull it off, but not the way Keanu did.
Edward Norton is a geek and comes off a little too crazy for the fighting, but maybe, just maybe.
Will Smith is too cool since he's the Fresh Prince.
Ozzy Osbourne... ha ha ha ha ha.
And Wesley Snipes is too much Blade, but would make a good addition to the Merovingian's team of Vampires...

What the heck makes Stephen Dorff a good actor? Does it take a threesome to be a good actor? Or just a bunch of lousy roles?

I really like the way he acts!

I liked him in SFW and i think his acting in Blade was brilliant, but it's all down to personal opinion i guess.

I'm sure if you watch SFW you'd like him a little more, and no, i haven't seen his threesome bit, i don't know what film it was in but hey, i'm male so i'm not really bothered!

I think the movie was actually called Threesome, but I can't remember. And it was two guys and a girl if I remember correctly. But whatever, he's not my cup of tea, that's all.

non-real: squall from final fantasy 8 (don't ask why because i don't know one of my friends told me to put this)

So many Cool actor...but IF Keanu wouldn't take the role, I would pick Ben Afflect to take the role. He's pretty good in the Daredevil movie (* i guess*).

What About the Trinity role? My pick is Cameron Diaz. And For Morpheus,.. That will be Morgan Freeman. How ever will Smith can take Link's role :)

alkazapper, no offense, but yuck! Ben Affleck and Cameron Diaz?!? They seriously need to stop being in every movie. Oh well, at least they're not in any good movies. :)

Cute is not what's required for the part of Trinity, lol. Ethan Hawke, maybe, but no, Keanu only. Without Keanu the second ant third movies wouldn't be. No one could take his place in these films, or they probably wouldn't have turned into such a cult phenominon. I think Keanu was destined to play crap parts and semi decent roles before this because this was to be his defining role.

I think demi moore could have been trinity.

I dont think anyone could replace Keanu really, i have no idea who would fit.
For trinity i think it should either be Audrey Tautou (although im not sure that she speaks english, which could cause some difficulty) or me. :D

Ya I know Cute isn't the MAIN requirement but, Trinity role is sadistic type. That's why i picked Rene Zellweger. Her role in Jerry Mcguire, was a tough single mother, sweet, loving and active. I thought that fits for Trinity(?) - just that... ;)

Oh no, cute and sweet and hardworking are not Trinity. :) But anyhow, Rene is the total opposite. I just couldn't see her cute little chubby face attached to a liquid mercury black tight leather outfit. ;)

Liv Tyler's voice is too soft spoken and she's too innocent seeming, even when ripping off all her clothes in her daddy's band's video... No, don't think so...

Not Angelina Jolie. Okay, it was rather good that they used such international actors, IMHO, because to use those bland hollywood types would have been just so wrong. But I really don't see Keanu as being wooden like the talking heads claim, I just see him as emoting in an alternate way, which is why he is so perfect for the part. And if Carrie-Anne hadn't been so unrecognized, I don't think she would have worked either.

I don't think Angelina Jolie would be any good... She was crap in Tomb Raider, and probabily will be as Trinity.... So thats a definate no... :)

Michelle Yeoh as Trinity (if it was an alternate). Was just about to suggest Angelina Jolie before.

( Still can't get over Keanu on the "Replacement" movie. Just Love that one).

I'd have to say Christian Bale too, because he played in a movie called Equilibrium that has some good kung fu in it.

For Trinity I would say a lady that I saw driving down the street would do a good job, she looks just like Carrie-Ann Moss or Lucy Lui from Charlie's Angels.
