Questions along with comments and possible forecasts of what Russia's role is in this 21st century. You can addon whatever you want onto this if you want to.
Russia,
The sorrow story of reality. We see Russia as being reformed, a country of being re-born after being taken over by the devils that were the communists. But is the Russia/CCCP/USSR we have known in the past really gone? Is there reason to believe they are gone, when all that happened was only a change of face. The true intention of Russia is known. Domination of the world as all idealists (humans) have plan's to do, to be. Is Russia an ally to the world or just another thorn? These are questions that are answered quite simply by Russia's history.
The reality of Russia, is that sorrow will always exist in a nation of fascists that hide their true intentions by masking it with a happy face. We see the War in Chechnya is only a practice run for what the Russian's plan on doing in the future. There is no need to obey international law, because there is nothing wrong being committed in Chechyna. That is mainly said because the truth cannot be revealed, for it would create Russia as an unreliable face into the international community that has hope in Russia. It is always good to be known as the underdog, since you can always surprise your enemies. Vladimir Putin who is he, and why is he in power?
For those Eastern European's that heard of the truth. Know that Vladimir Putin himself comes from German (nazi) decendants, and his father along with most of his relatives were double agents for nazi's and were also related with the SS. Is he a continuation of the predicted 1000 year reich hitler promised? He could without a doubt be a 'agent' of the nazi agenda. Also created into other world leaders that have a higher message of reality. The world is not how it seems to be. Everything is the inverse or near inverse of what the common generality is believed to be. The truth, what is it? Can we find out what it is from our world leaders? Revolutions have proved to always be working against the people no matter how you think about it. Revolutions themselves are only a loop, a continuation factor of struggle. Why am I writing this? For the hell of it.

IMO That is Russia. Although you can also expect them to have a treaty signed with another nation to have mutual divisions between Poland when they do invade them. History, it's pathetic. I can't see them invading Poland, it will stir up way too much hatred for them to get away with i would of thought.
Maybe i'm just niave in thinking that though.
They have to rely on aid from the American government, so if they don't agree with some of their decisions, i can't see them carrying any of them out, even so far as what they are doing in Chechnya.
I'm sure that they don't have any plans that are unknown by America, and vice versa. The governments and agencies of those countries are surely too big to be able to do things that can be kept quiet IMO, but thats just my take on it, just a feeling i have of the situation. During WW2, it was Russia who led a giant attack against Hitler-Germany. The USA didn't attack untill one of their bases was attacked, and they retibuted that with hundreds of thousands innocent victims in the Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombings.
They sent almost NO soldiers into the battle field, eventually it was Russia who liberated Europe along with the very brave people of France, who never gave in to cowardice. And not to forget England, who fought back with their mighty airforce and naval forces, and eventually ground forces.
Than, after the War the USA claims THEY liberated Europe!

A country is good for what it provides it's people. Does it have a good history of providing for it's people, giving them the best opportunities possible. Is it continously trying to stablize whatever problems are going on with word's of wisdom, and not word's of death.
To date there is no country like that. There are fetal attempts, but they are just that. You guy's should not be arguing of who is the best, but be fighting for something much more grander. Why does my country 'suck'. I myself do still believe in a anarchial system where everyone govern's themselves. Have a system of basic respect and morals. That almost anyone can adhere to. Anarchy is the best system yet to follow by. Although if you want a system of war, you can go that route also, get your brain's splashed out by the enemy, it's always a great route to go.
USA, is a hooker with aid's. It's trying to infect everyone with the disease so that it can take everyone down, once the hooker dies. There is no need to be blind, USA will be destroyed. If it's not in 10 years then maybe 1000, 10000, 100000, to the quadtrillion of years. It will be inevitable :)

Also am I the only one against the European Union? Sure you have a unity of countries turning into States, but is that really beneficial? It does create without a doubt the world's best military. When you combine all of the countries military's together.

Valasher, maybe you misunderstood him. I'm sure he was mostly referring to the government(s) of your county. It probably was a misunderstanding, but on his part. ;) HU, if you have a better solution for our government, why don't you write a letter to one of its representatives. I don't usually get involved in political debates, as I know almost nothing about how the government operates outside of what I learned in high school. But as far as I see it, there's more than a few things I think should be changed, namely where the money is being spent. That's about all I can think of that they're doing unwisely at the moment, but it's only speculation, I don't work for our government, and I'm not in a position of power or knowledge of it, so I can't really talk about it. I also live in America and it's not a matter of great or ungreat there are many differences that America has from other countries but I also believe it shares many of the same qualities that other countries posess. Such as the fact that we all share or most of us show courtesy for our own goverment (no offense intended) and most of the reason for that courtesy is that that's all most of us are used to (our own countries). My point being that we should all share respect for each other on this forum. Though some of us might not agree with others and their beliefs, backgrounds, or living enviroments, we all have something in common. well when you say that the war was justified because "if you murder people, you must be executed" then Bush must get the same penalty as Hussein...

Because if von Schleicher had remained in power, Germany would have been a partner of the United States, in a worldwide recovery. The Nazi party would have vanished, and no war. No great penalty.
But that didn't happen. Montagu Norman, with the backing of Averell Harriman and his friends in New York, including the father and grandfather of George Bush, the later president, the great-great grandfather of (ex-Gov.) George Bush.

This is the illusion a Soldier has, that he has worth. When infact he is the true word of a freelancer, or a mercanary. I have no respect for soldiers. Soldiers should be disgraced, just as they were during the Vietnam war, since people knew these soldiers were not fighting for a righteous cause. They were not fighting a 'cold war', they were not protecting the homeland by attacking Vietnam/Cambodia and neighbouring countries. They were fighting that which was themselves. Since that is the truth. Themselves in their idealistic beliefs.

Do not believe that because you are a soldier, you are fighting for your 'homeland', you are not and you have allowed yourself to be delluded. I belive that religion still holds communities together. I myself have witnessed just how well together communities can be. My church is so amazing. It is everything your claiming it is not. Other religions may not be so well put together and maybe some of the religion I am a part of but my church community is the best church community I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. If you do not believe in religion, what do you belive in? Surely you have some theory as to how the world came to be. what is it? Interesting.......
I will say that I follow an eastern philosophy which is a way of living rather than a religion.
Now my take on this discussion.
"Religion" is indeed often manipulated by humans but it does offer some things that if we considered into our lives, the better it would be. (And the negative extremes of this are acts like 9/11 whereby those militants are obviously misled on a "holy war".)

Maybe you didn't get what I was getting at, or maybe you did. These are not my own beliefs of what I was commenting on. The "Bible" teaches one to walk the path of Jesus. What does it mean when it says this. It mean's do what 'Jesus' would do. Jesus would not walk a path of destruction of human's, he helped them whenever there was the situation to do so. I am not stating my own beliefs, just merely outlining the obvious in the teachings of the Bible. You have a very poor understanding of this portion of history...it has nothing to do with military might. The US did not achieve victory, but it is not due to a lack of military might....please (..The US did not achieve victory, but it is not due to a lack of military might..)
When your military power can't achieve you a victory and prevent the defeat against one of poorest countries on Earth, with exhausted population, consumed resources and completely destroyed economic due to 71 years of liberation struggling fight with colonizing France, this hardly can be called "great" military.

I see no mockery in trying to ruin another member's credibility. I have not seen him to it to you, so I think this behaviour was uncalled for, however Americans seem to be good in taking offence in almost everything.

I am certain that Saddam's Regime used hospitals as military bases. It was proven through the rescue of POW Jessica Lynch that Saddam's Regime was operating out of hospitals. Remember, Jessica Lynch was being held as a prisoner of war at a hospital in which an entire wing had been converted into torture chambers.
As a separate matter, I hear people refer to US resistors in Iraq as Iraqi freedom fighters. What a joke! These individuals oppress and kill those who do not share their religious beliefs. Yeah it looks like the world needs a wake up call or two about the credibility of the stuff they read. The chances of this actually happening are next to none, but where there's a will there's a way i suppose.

Pentagon fabricated story about rescuing Jessica Lynch made of mixing two Hollywood movies of "Courage underfire" and "Saving Private Ryan", where Jessica was a victim of an ambush by ruthless Iraqis with all her nine other comrades were killed in the ambush.
According to Pentagon, Jessica fought a hard battle with Iraqis until she was out of ammunation, before they captured her.
She was wounded, she took some bullets, and suffered stab wounds too!
Jessica was held in Nasiriyah hospital which was swarmed with Saddam's paramilitary Fedayeen.
She was maltreated, abused and tortured.
Pentagon sent force of Rangers and Navy Seals to set Jessica free, and they did after a daring assault and storming the hospital with lots of "GO!GO!GO" drama.
But was that true?
BBC went back to Al-Nasiriyah and interviewed the witnesses in the action scene, just to discover what kind of lies media was circulating in past months.
First they interviewed Dr Harith Al-Hassona, who looked after Jassica during her ordeal, and he said:
"I examined her, I saw she had a broken arm, a broken thigh and a dislocated ankle....Then I did another examination...There was no [sign of] shooting, no bullet inside her body, no stab wound!...Only RTA, road traffic accident"
"They -Pentagon- want to distort the picture....I don’t know why they think there is some benefit in saying she has a bullet injury?"
And what about maltreating her?
Jassica was never ill-treated by Iraqis, they gave her the only specialist bed in the hospital, and one of only two nurses on the floor, medical staff had even given blood to help her due to a shortage!
What about the Fedayeen?
There was not even a single one.
And Americans were aware of this!
Hassam Hamoud, a waiter at a nearby restaurant, said he had been approached by a US advance party and asked if there were any Fedayeen in the hospital.
And he replied with big "No". Only then the forces move on to the hospital "what a brave team!".
Even so US Special Forces chose to enter the hospital at the dead of night, with guns blazing. Dr Anmar Uday told BBC:
"We heard the noise of helicopters...We were surprised...Why do this?...There was no military, there were no soldiers in the hospital?"
Dr Al-Hassona added:
"It was like a Hollywood film....They made a show—an action movie like Sylvester Stallone or Jackie Chan, with jumping and shouting, breaking down doors".
Doctor Al-Hassona also claimed that medical staff had tried to help Jassica escape two days before the snatch team arrived, placing her in an ambulance and instructing the driver to take her to nearest US checkpoint.
The driver had to retreat back to the hospital, however, when he came under fire from American troops!
Kampfner -BBC war correspondent- reported that he had asked Bryan Whitman, US deputy assistant secretary of defence, to release the full tape of the rescue rather than an edited version in an effort to resolve the disparate accounts.
"He declined. Whitman would not talk about what kind of Iraqi resistance the American forces faced. Nor would he comment on the injuries Lynch actually sustained."
The US military had never claimed that its forces had come under fire when they burst into the hospital.
Nor had it released an account on what had happened to Lynch because, "she never told us", he said.
"Certain facts about what happened to other soldiers got confused with what may have happened to Jessica," Whitman maintained.
