Fox & Wolf
People often think about changing user names for whatever reason, but don't want to start over again with no earned benefits.
I suggest that if a person changes their user name:
1) All earned benefits are transferred to it.
2) All posts made under the old user name will transfer over to the new user name. This is mainly to avoid confusion.
3) The avatar and all profile information is also transferred.
4)The old user name is deleted.
Basically, transfer everything so it's like nothing has changed except the name, which is what people want.
One way to know who wants to change to whatever name is either to have them contact the managers and wait for a reply, or have the server track people from their computers. The person would probably have to be logged into thier current name. I'm not sure what the site is capable of doing.
