Neo's Bench

Deus-Ex-Smith

Don't know if any of you have seen this:
Freddy Krueger

lol is that suposed to be his grave stone in the matrix ?
3nity_twisted

yup... it is rumored to signify the end of the matrix...but one can dream, right?

i really love that detail, but would like to know who put it there, was it all the machines and creator of the matrix or was it a friend or coworker that knew Thoman Anderson and had it put there a couple months ago.............................

I love how it looks so much like the core of the Nebuchadnezzar (the metal, it's colour, how it's faded, the font, etc...)
Omega Ascendant

Yes, this is quite groovy however...I dont remember actually seeing this in the scene. I saw the movie several times and on an Imax screen to boot and the camera shot never allowed to actually see the placard. So..I ask if this is a digitally enhanced shot or if someone simply made this themselves and distributed it.

Do we know if this is real? If that is what the plaque said then could it have been an inside joke on the set? Cause ya know...you can't read it in the movie.

What say you?

That plaque is on the bench that Sati, the Oracle, the Architect and Seraph are siting at the end of M3. you can also see it in some of the special features on the reloaded DVD. very hard to pick, but when you see it you you will think it was very hard to miss!

Splinter..Help a brother out. I have watched the reloaded extra's over and over. Which portion is it in.

Also, it's got to be a WB's inside joke right? I mean if it was mainstream to the story arc they would have done a tight shot on it in revolutions right?? Sincerely asking out of interest..not trying to make it a right or wrong issue.

when the movie first hit theaters, someone mentioned it on this site. Thought it was pretty cool little detail.
