Best Superhero?

So who do you think?
(Funny, because Neo aka Keanu Reeves plays as Constantine in the upcomming movie)

I think I just tied it up w/ Punisher for my vote for Superman. :)

The only thing that annoys me about Superman though is his costume (and other superheroes w/ similar costumes).

I've heard many ppl make fun of him for that reason. I mean.......cmon.......grown man ......wearing underpants outside like that. LOL .

I hope this changes in the upcoming movies that are supposedly underway.

(BTW......WB and the makers of Smallville have done an excellent job on Clark's journey to becoming that Superman. Great show!!)

The Rally Monkey for the Anaheim Angels. I don't like the Angels, but that monkey had something special about him in the 2002 season that carried a team of scrubs to the World Series title.

I'd say Spawn too. Spiderman is funny... X-Men...? I dunno, they have really cool powers, but their not super heroes. They can't show their abilities to the public. I hate Superman (the program and stuff).. Especially the game... How the hell couldn't you tell the difference to clark and superman himself? It's pretty obvious! Anyway.. I like Hulk too. So it's a tie, because their all unique in their own ways...

Well u take those type of things with a grain of salt......but that would be something to change especially when making a smart movie.

Otherwise......its like saying.....how the heck Spawn get resurrected from the dead?

Besides kryptonite being around him......he can kick all the other superheroes' butt back to stone age!! ;)

yea the xmen cant show thier abilities to the public but they are still superheros, they still have people from danger

...spawn is good, but he is no superman.

I have posted on this before on a long in depth thread which I will not go find because it's in the depths of archives... but come on

.......it only takes superman a while to win because you have to fill 20 pages of a comic book, 30 minutes of a cartoon, and 2 hours of a movie. In reality, supermans enemies could easily be vanquished in a matter of seconds.... but who wants to see that... I know spawns already dead, but before spawn even realized it (superman can outrun flash he IS fast), superman could rip his head off clean... ..can't do much hero work without a head... same for the human heroes... he could stop their heart in seconds... Hell it took doomsday WEEKS to kill him. As for the xmen.... maybe rogue if she got her hands on him, but unlikely.... the only other one I would even consider is wolverine, who perhaps could break supes skin with adamantium, and if he got the right wound in, probably.. but once again, can't match the speed... can't slice up what you can't see. There are other points to be made and other heroes to compare but as I said, I already did that, so I'll leave it at superman. Oh and batman always keeps one small piece of kryptonite in his batcave just in case... well buddy, your batcave aint in metropolis....

Batman rocks, most definately! He doesn't really HAVE any super powers. Plus, he does the nighttime/black thing. He's any goth's dream guy, right? :D
He doesn't stoop to the low of using guns (except for a few occasions, but, hey- considering what he's against for the most part, wouldn't you?).
Plus, who DOESN'T like the Batmobile?! It's become a legend among the comic world :D

hulk is stronger then superman. superman is mabey faster, but hulk is way more powerfull. how more angry he get's the stronger he becomes.

rogue (x-men) also has super strenght and she is agile and fast. and she can use here energie absorbtion on supermen is she wanted to.

Yeah, the X-Men rock, but it is kind of unfair for them ALL to be in a single option. Sure, putting them all together against a single other superhero would tip the odds a bit in their favor, but what about individuals? IMO it depends on the particular X-man you're talking about.

You're right, Freddy, Rogue rocks and would be able to take superman any day. Personally, though, I'm in favor of Gambit also :D
I guess each has his/her certain powers and it depends on who they're fighting. Wolverine would rock against nearly anyone, but not magneto. The Hulk would rip nearly anyone to shreds, but professor Xavier would be able to stop him easily.

don't think that the xavier could stop the hulk.
in one comic i have. the sorcerer tryes to reason with the hulk (true telapatie) to ask to help him. but hulk get's even more mad because of the and demands that he stops. and jumps (far) away


the only one from the x-men that i don't like is cyclops he's alittle too nerdie to be cool

Okay people, I was going to put the choice Other and then you have to tell which other superhero but I forgot. Spawn is okay but I don't care for him. I voted Punisher because he kicks way more ass then anybody! He is basically like Batman except Batman doesn't have the cool van and the guns. Superman sucks, the only reason I put him in the poll was because he is very popular. I like The X-Men and Hulk. I don't know why I put Iron Man in the poll. He's okay but not great. I think Spider-Man is cool. By the way, did anyone see the teaser trailer for Spider-Man 2?

I like it when the movies stick to the comic book style world!
Pretty much all of the movies (X-Men, Daredevil, and soon Punisher should be in the list too) have done this soo far with the exception of any Batman films after the second one --- that was just horrible.


Can't wait till Batman vs. Superman comes out.....hopefully it'll be that much better due to the film-making technologies these days.

No way! Xavier could totally take over the hulk's mind (IMO). I dislike Cyclops too. NOt that he's nerdy (what's wrong with that?! ;) ), but that he's too stuck on himself all the time. I dunno...


You ARE right, though- Superman is a pansy. The guy runs around with his underwear over his pants, for crying out loud! And the whole American color scheme- sorry, but I just am not into that. It makes him like a Captain-America wannabe (which I'm not a fan of either, sorry to any brainwas...er, patriots). I just have never been into the whole "From another planet, I can do just about anything as long as it doesn't involve my ONE weakness" garbage.
But that's just my view on it all.

Hmm. That Spawn guy looks cool, but you know what? I don't know him! Who is he? Does he have an own comic or is he a Spiderman's enemy or something like that? And who is Punisher? Could someone post a picture about him? I might know him, but if I see a picture then I can be sure. Here in Finland these superheroes usually have stupid name translations and they sometimes confuses me.

Yeah...but anyway...if I have to pick a best one of these. Then I would say X-men or Blade. There is a lot of cool guys in X-men. Nightcrawler and Mystigue are very cool and I also like Magneto and Wolverine. Blade is independent and aggressive. He is a vampire who fights for good. I think that's very interesting and he also looks cool or at least in the movies he does. He wears a long black jacket (like in the Matrix) and sunglasses and he also can kung-fu. I think Blade isn't a very great movie, but I like the character.
Spiderman is also pretty cool, but I like more Blade's dark style than some kind of blue and red tricots :D.

punisher = just a normal guy, that got realy pissed of when some mafia member tryed to kill him, but instead killed his wife and children. he and a friend now fights for justice (wel for punishers own justice) and he captures or kills (only seen him in a spiderman serie a couple of times)

Spawn = don't know if there are comics about him, but there are 2 movies. 1 with real actors, it's pretty cool, but sometimes too much talking and it's a little short. 2 cartoon video's that involve even more talking, but you also get cool fighting scene's and a lot of blood. but the cartoon video whas realy boring after 2 episodes. i rented a video of spawn (with the cartoons) there were 6 movies on it, but after the second movie, it got a little boring, almost every episode looked the same)
