talking between players

Do you think we will be able to talk via microphone? For instance, I see an ally and press the "space" button, and now we can talk over microphone (assuming he or she has one also).

Probable or will it be just typing communication?

I don't think they'll have voice communication like that. I believe they'll have it so you can say "Type" and then the chat box comes up and whatever you say next it will type in chat. Then maybe you can say "menu" and it will bring up the menu. That's how the voice communication works in most other MMORPG's anyways...

Most games like these don't have voice communication in the way that you want it :(...

Planetside has a built in voice communications system, but it blows. Most people use teamspeak.

it will give you a little more lag, but if you got msn messenger. and you have a friend in your list. just stay on line. and use your microphone to talk to each other.

Well, you have programs with more options and less lag. Some are supported by gamespy. So msn isn't neccesary... it really lags a game.

i got gamespy, but for some reason at the moment my comp keeps saying that the program isn't on my comp anymore. but the icon of gamespy is still in my program files list.

Odd. Maybe you should look inside C:\program files\ and see whether the files are still there.

I remember the name of the program now, too. It's called rodger wilco. Or something similar :D.

Roger Wilco is a lot like Team Speak or Ventrillo, except with a lot less options.

I was just trying to give an example of a program we could use. I was in no way implying that it was the only one or the best. Maybe Ubi will implement the option into the matrix... ;)
