i was wondering are there any pink floyd fans on this board if there are whats your favorite song and albumb

my favorite song is a tie between money and another brick in the wall

and my favorite albumb is dark side of the moon

I haven't heard Pink Floyd actually, but i am interested, and i have heard this somewhere:'Pink Floyd doesn't rock, Pink Floyd mellows' Is that true?

yes in a way i think there an experimental band meaning they dont flat out "rock" but they are not completly mellow either. they are a sound all thier own.
in other words thier very hard to describe. i wish i could but i can't but do a search for pink floyd and you might find some of thier music (or music videos for that matter) and get a good idea

My personal favorite song is "Comfortably Numb" because it's one of those suicidal/drug binge downer songs, and the guitar solo in the middle and at the end is freaking amazing. "Dark Side of the Moon" is an incredible album, and it's sad that the cock suckers at Rolling Stone Magazine think that Nirvana and Coldplay have had better albums and more influence over contemporary artists than have Pink Floyd. Coldplay and Nirvana, yeah right, they can kiss my white boy ass if they think those two bands could even hold a candle to Pink Floyd's sound.

I am playing "Pink floyd - Another Brick in the wall" now, on my pc! Of course I own the CD and I have not downloaded it through kazaa, napster or any other legal or illegal peer to peer (p2p) downloading software, or an illegal ftp-server, and I don't know how to use all of those things even if I wanted too.

I love pink floyd! My favorite song by them is "Wish you were here" that was like my comfort song when i was sick, and well even when i'm not sick, its still so beautiful.

Really? I'll have to try that. I'm a big fan of playing "Dark Side of the Moon" during the Wizard of Oz... it's almost creepy at times. Hit play right when the lion roars the third time (before the movie actually starts). Very cool ^_^

"Another brick in the wall" is an awesome song, though. I love that part of the movie (IMO the only good part of the movie "Another brick in the Wall." The rest left me scarred for life)

Fave song is Breathe from fav album Dark Side of the Moon.
