:D
I believe in so many things, I'd destroy the site with the space taken up. Ghosts, reincarnation, aliens...all that.

I dunno, I saw something strange once when I was a child it was a triangle of bright lights that flew o'er my house and kept going slowly, then I saw a small flash (kinda like heat lightning if you know what I mean) and then I saw two bright lights float by on a back road 1/2 a mile from my house. I was curiously creeped out since then...

I stopped watching it after Dave Duchovny left, actually :D

Oracle 2.0 struck this conversation up with me and I thought it would be a neat topic. The x-files! Did anyone else ever watch that show? If so, for long did you follow it? What was your favorite episode memory..and was anyone as frustrated as me when they kept twisting the plot? :D

Oracle 2.0 - Yeah I know what you mean, Robert Patrick (the t-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day) did a somewhat good job, but I guess he was no david duchovny, but did you follow his work after he left the show or was it just the show that struck you?
I am the two

Hell yeah!!!! I've seen every signle show and every single video that has ever come out. But it really sucked that David Ducovny doesn't want to be Mulder anyway but I think Robert Patrick did a very good job. The spookiest episode I rememeber was when he dreamt he had to kill Scully and he had those 3 eyes. I wish they'd make another series, I'm dying for another one. I wonder what they have left to actually do...

I really got into it AFTER Mulder left....thats weird I think, but recently I've been watching from the begining now, and yeah, it's great. I like that supernatural stuff.

Yeah that episode with Robert Patrick with the three eye thing, that was ****ing scary I thought. Didn't that have a guy that got murdered by rats and it had something to do with if they beleieve it was real it became real, like all theguys in that house at the begining.

me? I like that episode ith robert patrick visiting a house in the mountains and it hada a boy that drew images and they came real. That was weird casue he killed his mum with these weird bettle things that did the alien thing on her (bursty chest thing) and he killed his cat.

bastard. i love cats!!!!

Other than that... my fave Mulder one is the 1st one with the Irish Firestarter. That is so cool, especially the begining
"top of the morning to ya" and then his master bursts into flames.
and the bit in the bvar, where hes showing off, by making a small flame on his finger to turns around,a nd his eintire arms on fire, and he restes in on the bar. Alchohol & fire do not mix......

This is to that creepy-drawy-cat-killing boy
f**jk him, and i'm sure the cats agree

I like the books from the series too. They give a little more detail. :D the first couple seasons of X-Files were sweet!

I really liked that very first season episode about the ice core samples up north (or was it the antarctic?) and they found a parasitic worm that made ya go super violent. So they had a team of scientists plus Mulder and Scully and they all start turning on each other...that one had less scary and more suspense. I think that was one of my favorites.

they stole the general idea from a movie called the thing (which by the way is good and i have it on dvd) anyway i like the x-files but i stopped watching after david (i cant spell his last name) left.

but the moast memorable episode (which i think was the last) was where mulder was on trial for "killing" that indistructable super soldier( i cant remember his name but he had a metal skeliton i do remember that). and while he was on trial every important person from the show came to prove mulders innosence and to "de-classify" the consperasys.
then in part two scully, skinner, and one of the people on the judging pannel helped mulder escape to an ancient indian cave dwelling where he met(for the final time) the ciggarette smoking man (yes that actually is the guys name) and mulder was told the exact time, date, and second of "the invasion" end of the x-files (i think)

Yeah I remember that movie. They used to show it all the time on AMC movies (a cable channel around here), it had kurt russel and what have you in it. That one was even better ;)

What books have you read? I think I read Ground Zero and Antibodies. I also had a couple books about the series, they only intrested me because they talked about that black ooze stuff.
Ground zero I thought was a pretty good book about bombing all those poor isolated tropical islands in order to test nukes...

did anyone see the eposide of the X-files where they went to see a guy who changed his house into the house of the "brady bunch" we had some kind of powers (lifting things with his eyes, and changing scenary)

well if you havent then its a good one.
Solid_Snake

Stalin,

Do you remember it's title at all? That one I've never seen but I think I'd love to. There were periods in time I was consumed by school work instead of watching the x-files I was writing a #$*( paper...If you could tell me I'd appreciate it!

Just out of curiousity, what's the grossest episode you've ever seen? I think mine would be the first fluke man or that guy who could stretch himself that ate livers...something about puking a foot-long planarian makes me queezy or licking green goo and making a paper mache home that irks me....
freeyourmind

This was one of my favourite shows but I haven't seen it for ages. I can't even remember what was my favourite episode...
I completely missed the last season. Was it any good?
colourmeblind

i havent watched the show for a LONG time, and i only remember one episode... i think its embedded (sp?) in my brain... all i can remember from it is there were these cockroach like things that would crawl into you, like when you cut yourself (or maybe they cut you, the memory is a bit fuzzy) these cockroaches would crawl into the cut, and under your skin, and you'd just watch the lump moving around under your skin and you couldn't get it out, ahh anyway i saw it when i was about eight and i still remember it everytime i see a cockroach....

Yeah i saw this, it was really strange. The guy had special powers and people kept getting thrown out of the house via the roof didn't they?!

One of my favourites was the one where they were stuck underground somewhere and something had put them to sleep. After a while they started dreaming they had got out but really, they where still underground. Very wierd, it was like the matrix, they thought they where awake, but they where underground in this slime dreaming the whole episode. Mulder sussed it in the end and they woke up.

Anyone else seen this?

Many more good episodes though that i can't remember.

Yeah, I renember that one, that was kinda cool

That one in the 1st Season called "Ice" with the worms in Ice thatn took over the body, that was a reaaly good one.

The grossest one I saw was probably the one with thje village cult who put worms in your back to join it's religious sect. I hate worms at the best of times, but they were in Scullys back.....
Equal to that was the one with the Flukeworm...nrrrgghhhh

The best ones are the ones with the Devil or Satanists in my opinion.

Last night I watched 2 in a row on BBC2
One was about a Necrophilliac and one was about the PTA doing Satanism. Both were in Season 2.

As for the last season, it was alight. I liked it!

Yeah that was the last episode. The ciggarette smoking man was killed by a rocket from a helicopter and Scully & Mulder escaped and it ended with them together in bed holding hands. The who;le epidode was about Mulder getting into some Military bunker where he knew he would find out the TRUTH. Problem is, he found it out and he would't except it. Thats why the trial was going wrong becasue he wasn't fighting back, he had given in.
The truth was that the Aliens were going to invade using the Virus that was being spread and they would tke over and there was nothing that could have been done to stop it. They were taking this planet back, they were beaten by us before and they were not going to be beaten again. They had left ships with markings which had answers to everything. The bible and Koran and other religious books had passages on these Spaceships, measning that we only exist as we do becasue they let us win and we took all our knowledge and stuff from the aliens. They kickstarted our evolution. The virus I meantioned took over the body and made you shed your skin or something that made you a alien. Mulder and the Ciggarette Smoking man were the only ones immune from it. mulder was given the gift of immunity from aliens and CSM took some of it. They were the only onmes that would survive the Invasion. But Scullys child also had immunity (I think) The supersoliders were a creation of man spliced with alien technology.
If you sawe the X-files movie, then you'll see what i mean, the aliens were here first and we took over (at the end of that movie, the aliens were under the ice in antartica with humans messing about with it and at rhe end it erupts out of the ice after he's saved scully)
Correct me if I'm wrong
stalin6025

does anyone else think that the episodes were better than the movie?
Deus Ex Machina

yeah but although it seemed like a long episode, thoughout the moive, i thought it was too predictable. but with the episodes some seem to have a bigger twist in it, and something new. ohwell.. the x-files is good all over.
Ragnarpk 88

Yeah the movie was alright. I like having a new episode all the while so I think they are better. Theres more variety in them but it was good for a 2 hour episode.

Oh yeah those two episodes I watched were....

Ep. 2.13 "Irresistable"

Mulder and Scully are called to Minnesota by an agent who believes that a mutilated body might have been ravaged by a paranormal force. What they find out that they are up againist a necrophiliac-- Donald Pfaster-- who has begun a killing spree, with Scully one of his intended victims. Pfaster appears as a demonlike creature at moments, which possibly could be Scully subconscious mind dealing with her supposed abduction by aliens

Ep. 2.14 "Die Hand Die Verlezt (The Hand That Wounds"

Teenagers pretend to perform a occult ritual in a effort to impress. But when this kills one of the group, Mulder & Scully are called and discover that the PTA are practicing Satan Worship. The leader of the group, a Women techer kills off all the other members when they did not follow their worship fully, suggesting that she is indeed the Devil. She escapes before the two catch her.

My favourite episode is "Eve"

Ep 1.11 "Eve"

A pair of men are murdered by their 8yr old daughters in Conecticut & California. What draws Mulder & scully to the case is that the two are exact twins. Upon further investigation, they discover that both fammilies had been involved in a genectic experiment called the Licthfield project which resulted in the creation of boys & girls refered as Adams & Eves, who have heightened strength & itteliggence, but are pyschopathic in nature and look exactly allike.

What are your favourite episodes?

(Episode explanations taken from X-Files Connection by Ted Edwards)
stalin6025

i reckon it would be neat if they made a kind of "x-files VS. matrix" as in mulder and scully VS. neo and trinity.

and in this wonderous episode, neo and trinity try and invesigate some of the x-file cases, and mulder and scully investigate something to do with the matrix.

also the mental pictures of scully wearing trinitys leather cat-suit would be quite humerous.. :D haha
