question on the matrix

hey i read that in the 2nd movie there is a character stronger than neo and i am not talking about the twins i am talking about on the humans side i found this stupid cause neo is supose to be the strongest

i guess it's possible. they're keeping the plot a secret so getting
a clear answer from anyone will be a pain.

i remember seeking scripts for the Matrix Reloaded a few
months ago online and they turned out to be bs, although
they looked very legitimate.

i read it on a movie site can't rember what one i think it was the roper and ebert and i would still be pissed if they put someone stronger than neo in cuase he is supose to be like invinsable

Theres the new female actress I have seen on several previews of the movie, Im not sure what her name is though? she is the african american woman with the dark red hair in several clumps on her head?? She is one of the main characters in the upcomming video game. Mabye shes as strong as/Stronger than Neo??

yes i thought that two becuase she is the only one that is really new and look extremly good if i might add but making a girl stronger than THE ONE is kinda dumb if u ask me

I did see a commercial where Morpheus was surrounded by a few Smiths and Smith says 'If you can't beat them, join them'.

Might be a clue about the Trinity becoming an agent thing, but that's the first I have heard of it.

As for someone being more powerful than Neo, the one - well, there may be lots of people more powerful than him that didn't know it. Prophesy only said that Morph would find the one and Morph believes it is Neo.

why would trinity become an agent? she's been there with morpheus longer than anyone and she is the ranking officer on his ship.

its unlikely that this would happen ever.

i doubt there would ever be another cypher case, and if there was it wouldnt be trinity... sorry, thats my opinion ;)

i can remember being younger when the movie first came out and my brothers friend being obsessed with her and having her as his background.... i guess i was about 11-12 and he was always at my house, i grew to love her and think she was the hottest woman alive, mostly for the leather, but thats besides the point... the oracle is much hotter now that i pay attention

yes i agree but if there is someone as strong/stronger than neo then it would ruin the movie excually becuase he isthe main charater soo we all know he is the ONE why would there be able to be someone stronger i find this stupid

Realistically, how much more powerful than Neo could one be? He's proved that he can be anywhere, stop any worldly weapon from hurting him, that the agents can't touch him.

That's infinite power.

Neo's weakness is that he is friends with the crew and he potentially loves Trinity. Other than that, he has no ties to anyone or anything.

I really can't see anyone being more powerful than Neo. I can see there being more 'neos'.

Another thing i read that they find a matrix withing a Matrix i had thought this possbile that what morpheous thought to be the real world was really just another matrix jsut in case someone like neo came along if so i am pretty smart

Star Trek TNL had atleast one episode where there was a Holodeck in a Holodeck. I guess it's not beyond the realm of possibility, my concern would be how would the outer matrix know how Neo's superpowers would be in the inner matrix?

As for someone being more powerful than Neo, I consider it a high possibility at this time - only because it would be a believeable plot twist from M1. Oracle told Morph that he will find the One. Everyone assumes Neo is the One given his powers, but maybe there is someone else stronger that will free the humans. Or maybe it will be someone with powers NOT as strong as Neo's that will save humanity.

I guess we won't know until November.

1) The woman in red leather with clumps of hair all over is Niobe
(Jada Pinkett-Smith). She is the pilot of the fastest hovercraft in the human fleet, along with Ghost (Anthony Wong), the weapons specialist, and Sparks (not sure!), the operator.

2)I'm not sure about this, but I believe Persephone is a female Agent. Either that, or she is the female in Final Flight of the Osiris, in the dojo katana fight (gets her clothes sliced off :D ).

3)It's pretty obvious, I think, that the trilogy will have to ultimately end in Neo's defeat; I don't think he's going to free mankind. Anyway, I've read from a few sources that the movie closes in a Sentinel attack on Zion, and the final shot is Neo holding Trinity's charred corpse, and it fades to black. Again, that's unconfirmed.

4)I've read a few places that Cypher never died and is back in on or both of the sequels. We'll see in exactly two weeks!

5)I've heard that the Wachowskis originally intended for Trinity to be a man, but Trinity ended up as a woman, due to the uproar it would have caused and Keanu Reeve's protests. Can this be confirmed or denied?!

6)I've heard that the 'real world' is yet another program. This would be incredibly stupid, I hope that's not the case.

7)Most of the movie takes place in Asian settings: I know of China Town for sure, and either Tokyo or Hong Kong is the other. Is there any relevance to the story here? Or is it just where the key guy (is it keeper or master) lives?

8)Finally, who are the Wurms? On the game's site, it had a render of a chubby black guy in leather, called a wurm. Maybe a computer worm, literally? Also, there's a picture of a level called Lower Wacker. Any idea what Wacker is? It looks like a parking garage, or a highway with a roof.

Okay, the reason Smith said that line is because he has a new ability. He can now turn someone into a copy of himself. Now that makes sense huh? And the thing about Trinity. I haven't heard about that but considering this info I'd just say Smith turned her into one of his "clones." Got that cleared up? Okay, that's good! :cool:

If that is true, then maybe the matrix has somehow duplicated her "residual self-image" to trick Neo into thinking it's Trinity--exposing himself to an agent spy!!! Of course, where the real Trinity would be during all of this is beyond me. It's something to think about though. ;)

hmm, that makes more sense than anything about the Trinity/agent question. We've all seen the scenes in the trailer that Smith sort of gels out into two Smith's to duplicate.

What if he could gel into other forms, including Trinity? Would allow him to get places easier, but since Neo can see deeper into the Matrix, you'd think he could see deeper into the chars he deals with daily.

Also, something that lends credence into my theory, trailer shows smith surrounded by around 20 crows. Maybe he can shapeshift?

And InsertYourName: Your spoilers were good tidbits. I agree that Neo will probably die trying to save the world. It's been my contention in several threads that Neo is probably NOT the one, given that it would make for a good twist since Oracle only told Morph that he would find the one. Never was it confirmed that Neo is, only assumed since he has awesome powers.

Remember that the One will not only have powers to make the Matrix as they want, but he/she will save Mankind. If anyone has access or knowledge of the complete verbatim prophecies, please post them.

As for Cypher, I don't see it happening. Remember that he died in the Neb ship, the crew had control of his corpse and presumably they would have jettisoned his corpse to the elements. Any rebirth/cloning bs would not be appreciated by me. Maybe another Smith shapeshift, that's the ONLY way I see Cypher coming back. I wish he could come back, he's a cool villian. 'He's going to pop!', love that line.

The African American in the movies is named Naobi and it seems she had a relashinship w/ Morpheus in the past and i know for a fact that she isn't stronger than Neo, as for Trinity they could have just made a matrix counterpart of her (in othr words a fake look-alike Trinity Agent) That would be clevr 2 do-H&h
