Neo has the choise to save Zion, but, you don't care.
Because if he dies, he can't remeber Zion, or anything else.
You have no feeling, nothing...
Why care about Zion when you are going to die?

If i'm going to die, the world can die too, because if i care, thousands of people will be dead, or will be saved.

What's the use of saving Zion, when you are dead? It doesn't work against you, neither with you.

Ofcourse, i care about everyone, but what's the use when you are dead?

The needs of the many outwheigh the needs of the few, or the one.

Self-sacrifice to preserve the species of a large group of the species is very natural and logical. Only people who do not see this basic knowledge, this basic difference between good and evil, bad and wrong would not sacrifice themselves, but instead kill others for their own selfish survival or entertainment.

Neo is the one. saving zion was what he had to do. i would sacrifice myself in a situation like that for humanity also. you'd be a legended!

I wouldn't save Zion: They deserved it. Mankind should die at the hands of the machines..

I love a girl I would gladly sacrifice my life for. What I would reach with that.. She would finally know how much I love her (she won't go out with me while I am alive, so maybe if I'm dead...:D).

Your mother will cry, your familly, they will all die too. Sacrifising yourself doesn't have a use.

Than life doesn't have a purpose either. Than you might as well kill yourself. I can not give you an answer. You have to figure out why you want to live yourself, than you'll know why you want to die.

I was more talking about Matrix then real life, cuz i understand it in normal life...but i'm only trying to know what's the use of offering yourself to save humanity.

oke for me i would not give me life for the world.
mabey for my familie or for a girl i love (looking around at the moment for one) but not for the rest of the world.

as for the matrix thing
let the machines kill all the humans, they diserve it the humans were the one that attacked the machines. the machine wanted nothing but peace !

Maybe it could also be said that the path of the many is made by "the one". I know that if I was going to die I would want to do it by helping someone before I died and Neo saved the human race.
