I didn't mean to critize Keanu Reeves' acting abilities. He DID do very good in the first one and the second one, but in the third one he kinda switched from the Neo role to his Hardball one... You know?

I know what you mean but I didn't really care. I think the third film wrapped everything up nicely.

hard ball was an ok movie, but he does act differently. have you noticed how in the first movie, morpheus acts like a leader, a teacher, then in the second one, his leadership falls at the end,
and in the third one he looks like he is still getting over the fact that the prophecy isnt real, and it was all a lie?

its like he has given up, or lost his sense of purpose.
in the ship with niobe, he has a hard time keeping up, and the look on his face is blank, like he is stoned or something

maybe he feels he isnt getting enough attention, neo is taking it all from him.
matrix: morpheus seem to be in such high regard
reloaded: he kind of died down, but still had high regard from the others of zion
revolutions: seem to be a little hated in his idea not to help with the fight for zion.

i also founded morpheus in revolutions so boring.
he whas turned from captain and leader to second help pilot.
mabey the brothers didn't know what to do with the character morpheus anymore

While they both did a fine job, I agree.

Morpheus, IMO, has every right to be different in the last one, though. I mean, the guy just had all his hopes and dreams smashed. Everything he had believed in is now gone.
He probably just doesn't quite know what to think of anything at this point in time; he's as lost as he's ever been.

i think keanu did a great job playing Neo in the matrix. i do agree wiv u all about Morpheus. although i haven't yet watched the 3rd one. in the second 1 Morpheus seemed to think that Neo would cope on his own. remember when the twin, ghost thingys went after Trinity and Morpheus, trinity asked, "what about Neo?" Morpheus answered with, "He can handle himself" or something like that.
