Hey, I have a suggestion. As I was searching through the members list, I saw so many good names Ex: Trinity Morpheus Agent Smith, etc... All taken... But what I noticed is they have been members since May and have 0-5 posts! If someone has been inactive soooo long, I think their accounts should be deleted. 30 days should be the limit of no post = your gone, but it's up to you guys. I think they should really be deleted, because new members try and get good usernames, but they are always crappy ones, that they didn't really want.
Thanks
Good idea.. If anyone tries to take Jetfire90 or Speedfire66 then they'll be dealing with me... lol j/k :D
I think it's a good idea, but should have an asterix:
*unless otherwise notified.
If somebody is a regular, and they know they're not gonna be on for some reason (going overseas for two months, going home for the summer with no internet, moving might be a little while), I think if they drop a little note there could be a way to make sure their membership isn't deleted
People who don't post aren't necessarily inactive, they might only browse the board. Of course you could argue that those people don't need an account, but that would be incorrect since they would loose the ability to track new/unread posts (they wouldn't be marked as new to them) and would be unable to send PMs (which they might do). This was discussed a while ago already.
Yes Crahan I suppose that is a good point, but if they register, and get deleted, they can still view posts without signing in.

Indeed so, but they won't be able to keep track of which threads contain new posts since their last visit. I think that ability is pretty important if you want to browse this forum.
To be honest. The option kinda sucks.. My browser never updates when I visit a previous site, and clicking F5 is very tiring. I'm not pro-deletion.. Just the new postthingy doesn't work very well for me...
